I just watched that recently. Its funny. I assume why they combined just a Gigglo and I Aint Got Nobody was to subtly shame the giggolo lifestyle.

If the songs were combined for that reason, it was Louie Prima who came up with the idea originally. He's the one that first had a hit with the medley of these two songs in 1956. Prima was the wildman of his day and was married to Keely Smith, one of the hotties of that era (she's at his right in this video, but she's looked better).
