This whole story is bogus anyway because if that's the lifestyle you lead, if you're away for that long and you're fucking other girls, why on EARTH would you have a girl living with you? You do that if you're serious about a girl. Not saying you don't ever cheat on her, but you'd never tell her about it. If a girl knows you're banging other girls, why would she be living with you in the first place?

And second, I firmly stand by the "Be willing to walk away from anything" mode of living, whether it's a girl or a job. If I caught my girl cheating on me, I'd smirk, shrug and walk away. Maybe tell the dude, "Hey, enjoy that thing I taught her." Make some plans to find some strange that night. Life goes on and everything's kosher.

Any response of violence just shows a severe case of one-itis. There might be this stigma that you're a chump if your girl cheats on you, but I don't buy that. You're only a chump if you stay with her or "try to work things out." Real men understand that shit happens but life goes on and any period of downfall is usually followed by something better.

Yep.

It's a tough situation.

Every fiber in our DNA says to kill the guy. It's natural. Hell, it used to be justifiable homicide to kill a man who was banging your wife. Guys would sometimes get very low prison sentences - if any time at all- for shooting a man who was banging their wife.

That was the law's way of recognizing that killing a man who is trying to deprive you of your prerogative to reproduce would get you killed in the wild.

So anyone who wouldn't feel rage is lying or he's a monk.

The problem is that society doesn't allow us to be natural.

We need to inflict pain in a way that won't harm ourselves.

Hence my answer.

(I thought of the scenario in the past and my answer wasn't off the cuff. I've planned in advance for such a situation and that is what I'd honestly do.)

We see patterns of animal behavior in us since we spring from them, but just like animals evolved from one-celled creatures through the history of earth, so has humans evolved from animals. I think labeling beating up some dude fucking your girlfriend as "natural behavior" is narrow-minded. In reference to an animal it might be yes, but within human behavior there is a complexity you won`t find in an animal...

Now, for me, in such a scenario I would take a more rational approach, simply because I hate wasting my time on something I can`t change. It happened, and all I have left is the choices for the rest of my life. It saves me time and is preserving my positive energy to something more useful. You could also relate this to animal behavior... Lions sleep 18-20 hours a day and hunt 4-6... Pretty rational and energy-conserving I`d say... So I guess my response is just as natural as someone fighting the guy?

If your goal is revenge then focus on improving yourself and really move on. Is there a better revenge than meeting your exes and totally "out-shining" them with positivity and things going for you? Revenge itself is in fact something you rarely find in animal behavior. It`s a human feature.

I was on the other side of this situation 2 times.

The first time I was home from the army, hanging out in Atlanta to see my grandparents when I heard a girl I used to have a lot of chemistry with was also living there after college. I got her cell from her parents and called her up. She invited me to go out with her boyfriend. I was disappointed but I had nothing better to do so I went.

She was looking better than ever and he seemed pretty cool but it was obvious who was in charge. As the night went on she started doing the classic foot touch under the table. I ignored it thinking she had to be just screwing around. We all go back to her apartment and the guy says he's going to sleep because he has to be at work.

As soon as he's out the door we are at each other, we make it to the bedroom and I'm fucking her doggy style. He walks into the room and I felt horrible. I just stand up, rock hard and step to the side, she's trying to cover herself and he starts yelling at her while she says I'm sorry over and over.

They go out into the living room and I throw on some jeans.

I hear him start to lose his temper and she starts crying hysterically. I decide to go out there. I go downstairs and some classically crazy cat lady that probably spies on everyone is asking what's going on, I start to tell her and she just pulls me into her apartment. She's got the longest fake eyelashes I've ever seen and I'm staying to make sure nothing to crazy happens upstairs plus she's serving me coffee.

I leave and I here from the brunette a week later, she wants to get together for coffee. I agree and when I get there she tells me her boyfriend is dead. Apparently he got up in the middle of the night saying he can't sleep and went for a drive in his mustang. The official story is that he feel asleep at the wheel and hit a telephone pole but the speed he was going was about 90mph or greater.

We go back to my place and fuck.

That one stuck with me and to this day bothers me. I know it was her fault but I can't just wash my hands of it either.

Anyway, if that happened to me I hope what I would do is say "both of you get the fuck out" and not say another word about it. If she said she had no place to go "not my problem".

Good point. I should have been clear that their cars are parked in my driveway, one in front of the other. There's plenty of space around them so, no other structures will catch on fire and it's late at night, I'm the only one in danger while I do the dirty work.

On my own property it's perfectly legal for me to blow up anything I want. A court would have to present evidence I did it and a jury would also have to convict me. Did OJ get convicted of a double murder? It's innocent until PROVEN guilty so the odds are in my favor. At most i'd be convicted of destruction of property that wasn't mine and they can hire lawyers to pursue me for the damages. Doesn't mean they'll ever collect a dime from me.

I'm going to have disagree with you because there's a distinction to be made here. NOTHING you do in this instance to punish her matters. How can you keep a girl like this? Keeping her is weak because on some level you've looked past her transgressions. Getting upset is weak because it shows she has power over you. Beating the guy up is strong but really, is it his fault? Beating her is justifiable but if it's from a loss of control then it's back to being weak. If it's to administer justice its strong but then it's against the law and you're causing trouble for yourself.

You aren't going to change a girl. I've realized that you have to be present long enough and often enough to keep her in the state of mind where the thought of another man touching her is repugnant. Every girl is different depending on her level of sluttiness.

If you don't have a girl that can last a month without you then find one that can do it. Blame yourself if she's that type and you've put your trust in. We all know deep down if the girl is a whore.
