"Hi." beta teen nominated short-story

I cringed the first time i watched this, now i just find it funny. It's a short movie made by some Romanian teen about his internal turmoil when faced with AA triggered by a girl that sits in his close proximity. I really don't get how a generation can be so feminized and passive, i don't get who nominated this for an award and why it won, and i don't get why most of the comments from guys are in form of: "yeah..too bad this never happens in real life." or "i shed a tear watching the clip" and "this happens to me daily and I feel so bad!". I hold my view-point that Romania is practically Game-virgin and pussy is up for grabs, no wonder Roosh did so well.

0:33 We sit there, staring and waiting. We feel dissapointed. Some of us wait our whole lives, without ever getting what we want. Others, just sitting there and watching, give up. Sometimes, regardless of all the voices that tell us to stop hoping, we don't. Just like kids, we never lose hope.
1:38 She's so beautiful.
1:57 Should I talk to her? What could I say. I know: "Hi". Hi and what...hi and just that. No that's not enough. Actually, it's good as a start. No..it's too simple.
2:39 I'm so happy she can't read my thoughts. Hi and something else...but what.
3:05 Cool, now she's laughing at me
3:24 She's leaving, and i didn't even say a stupid little "Hi".
3:49 (Girl) Hi.

This scenario is perhaps the easiest approach too. There is no wrong opener. [Image: lol.gif]

Typical beta fantasy... girl approaches him. Kind of the reverse feminist fantasy where she thinks all men want to rape her.

And come on, she's higher than a 4! In a DC bar she'd be the hottest.

Ok maybe I exaggerated a little, she could pass as a 6 [Image: smile.gif]

There's always been shy and nervous guys around women. I don't think it's a generation thing.

3:49 (Girl) Hi.

I am not feminized or passive but I can relate to this scenario, just like 90% of "regular" guys out there. And it won because people can relate to this. And no, most guys can't relate to your behavior.

I don't think a guy being too shy to say hi to a girl next bench is unusual, but celebrating it as touching and brilliant instead of something that needs to be solved pronto is a huge problem, and one mostly caused by feminism rather than shy guys. If it weren't for feminist propaganda about how women are all crazy for considerate, shy, respectful beta geeks, the shy guys themselves wouldn't feel compulsion to wallow in their self-pity.

I don't know where you get any information about "my" behavior. I can relate to this just as much as the next guy, it's normal. The difference between me and this guy is that my internal monologue is not about a sad drama, where the life is so cruel, how beautiful she is and how unfair life is. Sitting around waiting for something to happen IS passive. As males we will always have to go out there and stick our neck out to get what we want. If we DONT, then that's our personal failure. He also pedestalizes her, and then acts like a virgin when she sits next to him. Can you watch 3.36 and tell me that he doesn't act like a girl?

I know a couple of people that never heard of game and still made a couple of approaches in situations similar to this one. If you fail to take action you work on that, you don't make a movie out of it.

Bingo! This quote should be framed and hung on the walls of every man ages 15-80. This is what screwed me up. I've written about this on here before: I had natural game at 16-18 and it all came crashing down by 21-22. Why? In retrospect it's because I went to college and became "enlightened." I pushed aside all the things I knew instinctively and started behaving like a neutered intellectual -- although at the time I saw this as "progress."

Maybe it was progress. I progressed right out of the dating pool into the loser-single realm. This is probably the end goal of feminism: to weed out anyone stupid enough to believe in it. I wasn't stupid enough to take Women's Studies course, but if you're around enough college people, the culture rubs off and you absorb it. Similarly, had I gone into blue collar labor at 18, I'd have absorbed a different way of dealing with women.

Whatever the case, at 18 I probably would have spoken to the girl on the bench before it had even registered that I needed to make an "approach." By 22, I was this guy. Not good.
