US 'orders Verizon to disclose millions of phone records'

Why are you blaming the politicians? It's the average voter's complete ignorance of everything that's the cause of all these infringements. Assuming you believe the elections aren't rigged.

But they are rigged on occasion in the US.

Look what happened in Florida with Bush Jnr's first election against Al Gore. The skulduggery that went on in that state was shocking for such a progressive nation. Whole swathes of the black community barred from voting and even anyone with a similar sounding name was barred ( Reference: Stupid White Men - Michael Moore ), Fox news calling the Florida voting early in Bush's favour even though Gore was winning the state, Jeb Bush being allowed to use political influence despite his brother running for president, election laws ignored at will to favour the Republican party, late votes counted despite being illegal to do so as they were from military overseas voters who favour Republicans in general...the list goes on and on. Why on earth Americans put up with their election being stolen I have no idea. Not my problem, not my country so it doesn't bother me but I don't understand why you guys were not out in the streets. Fuck if one of our politicians calls a policeman a 'pleb' he is gone the next day, but you guys let your politicians take the piss out of you by stealing elections and you do fuck all!

The funny thing about it all is then your government says they are invading such and such a place to bring 'DEMOCRACY' hahahahahaha!

I love America, been numerous times, think the people are cool as fuck too but your politics is not much better than some African banana republic.

Americans actually believe voting is real and that it matters.

That's the first problem.

Also, most of the population is too hypnotized by fried food & the kardashians to even know what's going on.

Even very educated people seem very stupid about politics because they've completed sold out to one party or the other.

Obama is sort of a right-wing liberal.

There are seemingly credible allegations that the content of calls is also recorded:

Holy shit, they're collecting everything! This is even worse than we thought:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/jun...s-nsa-data

"The National Security Agency has obtained direct access to the systems of Google, Facebook, Apple and other US internet giants, according to a top secret document obtained by the Guardian.

The NSA access is part of a previously undisclosed program called PRISM, which allows officials to collect material including search history, the content of emails, file transfers and live chats, the document says.

The Guardian has verified the authenticity of the document, a 41-slide PowerPoint presentation – classified as top secret with no distribution to foreign allies – which was apparently used to train intelligence operatives on the capabilities of the program. The document claims "collection directly from the servers" of major US service providers."

Combine this with surveillance cameras everywhere and we're living in a total police state.

I predict all trust in this government has just evaporated

[Image: lol.gif] I was just about to post this on this thread. I try to stay on top of the Obama memes.

Because now guv employees in house are getting giddy. That's why they are breaking ranks and dropping dimes.

Their just finding out whose is loyal and who isn't. All these cute Obama meme's and "fuck the guv" statements getting shared and forwarded on emails is now in a database. They know. When shit gets out of hand, the guv will play the weak card, and that's when the UN, NATO, ect. will step in to restore order. And the first step is to identify those that may revolt.

People will be labeled as anti-guv, revolutionaries, terrorists, gun owners, Tea Party, ect, and rounded up. Much more feasible than you think.

They tested the waters by giving up control of troops to NATO commanders. Now they have bought thousands of armored vehicles, and have cut the supply of ammo by buying it all up. Guns are useless if you have no bullets. Military arms will be collected, and soldiers sent home on temporary furlow due to "lack of payroll funding". Anyone on system will be cut of unless they comply. Citizens won't be allowed to leave the borders, banks shut down, overseas accounts seized. Deals will have been made other guv's and citizens already abroad rounded up and brought home.

Welcome to the suck.

Your vision is consistent with the data. Even if there is currently no such plan, someone could leverage himself into a position to realistically do everthing that you have said. The system is indeed already in motion to affect all of that.

Excellent breakdown Ali. I almost spit out my coffee when I read this shit this morning. Someone called it "Turnkey Totalitarianism" which I think is a great description.

They kept it all secret until now so when SHTF they're ready to go.

So much for the land of the free. Home of the brave? We shall see...

Europeans fucking hate the fact that America:

1. Was their cast offs, and went on to become a superpower.

2. Saved their ass twice in one century. And continue to babysit.

3. Still have freedoms.

4. Own guns.

They will have no problem supporting their citizens under UN or NATO flags to support a guv that needs help quelling tyranny. Because that will give the control to bring us to their level. Misery loves company, and in this new world no one wants a big kid on the block anymore. Everything is in place, all the guv has to do is raise the victim flag.
