Asked a girl for her number and she started saying that well we will meet again bla bla. It's like a big social group of sorts. She then asked what's my facebook. I told her I don't use facebook. I told her good night and left. She sort of gave me a ride on her bike (I was on inline skates holding on the bike, she was doing all the effort).

What's the best action when she doesn't want to loosen the number and throws facebook in your face?

The best action is to accept she doesn't like you and direct your efforts towards someone who might (like you.)

That's what I figured. Is there a way to drop the conversation after asking for a number so you avoid the awkwardness if she refuses?

Not necessarily. My current girl wanted to give me her Facebook instead of her number.

Treat it as a shit test. Tell her you don't have it because you are grown up and if you want to see a girl again you ask for her number. That way you'll know where things stand.

You are right, I was too defeatist-- although I believe the odds are bad, if there's nothing to lose why not confront her as this guy suggests?

"That's a big step. I don't think we're ready for that sort of commitment. Do you usually move that fast with guys?"

I've taken some facebook deflections and added the hoe. Come to find out she had a man and that's why she deflected me. She also was a status and like whore. She thought I would be another beta clicking like on all her gay ass statuses and asses out club pics.

Once she broke up with her man it was on. She already knew I separated my self from the bunch and she saw I had value. Messaged her to come out on the town with me and my friends and got the bang on the second hang out.

Yeah it is. I talk mad shit when I'm out. You have to say it with a straight face in a "matter of fact" way but with a subtle smirk. The point is to get a little rise out of her and stimulate an emotional connection. Good fun.

I'm with Soup. FB is the ultimate game killer. I may do a full post on this when I get my thoughts together on it.

Because of the connectivity it provides, you'd assume FB would be gold for gamers, but it's the opposite because of a number of factors. My opinions coming soon...

Had this again last night when I approached a girl. I'm gonna stick it in the approach thread in a minute but I just told her "I don't have Facebook" and she gave me her number instead. I don't see the big deal.

I'm not trying to hate on this thread. But if you're picking up women at the bar you should be inviting them to an after party at your place instead of asking for numbers. You can do it dolo but it's best done with a competent wing.

"Do you ladies smoke? I live 5 minutes from here".

Getting her number should be last on your list. If she declines the after party just say "Alright maybe next time. What's your number?"

tend to agree...at a minimum I don't want to have one girl know what I'm messaging another and if they are all on my FB then it becomes really tricky. Every girls who's FB'd me rather than let me exchange numbers has gone nowhere...almost like when girls ask for my number and u know she has no intention of ever contacting you.

Seriously though, I think it's not just a FB connection with a girl that is a game-killer, I think it's how far down the FB rabbit hole she's gone.

The more time she spends on the site, chances are the less of a chance you'll have with her. She'll develop skyhigh expectations for a guy based on what she sees on FB and she'll also be more concerned with upgrading her image on the site vs. having a real life.

You: "I am old school"

or

You:" I am making one tonight. Let me have your number so you can give me pointers"
