"In informal logic and rhetoric, a fallacy is usually incorrect argumentation in reasoning resulting in a misconception or presumption. By accident or design, fallacies may exploit emotional triggers in the listener or interlocutor (e.g. appeal to emotion), or take advantage of social relationships between people (e.g. argument from authority). Fallacious arguments are often structured using rhetorical patterns that obscure any logical argument."

Read up, not that it'd convince you your argument is baseless anyway... but whatever.

It's a baseless opinion, not a fact. Yet another example of why I should probably start supporting forced sterilization.

You can't even form a proper sentence. It's baseless but pointless for me to continue because you're like most religious defenders, a brick wall (with no evidence other than fallacies).

Exactly, you have nothing but logical fallacies.

Presents appeared underneath my tree, must be Santa.

Smarter men than me have put your arguments (I don't even know if I should call them that) to utter shame.

See, the problem with logic is that stubborn, religious nutjobs don't want to (or can't) understand it. This is why you have nothing.

A few years ago I attended a debate at a university called 'Theist vs Atheist'.

Everyone came to the debate expecting the theist to get slaughtered and leave with some comedy.

To our surprise, the theist was shockingly convincing. By the end, he had everyone really thinking and rethinking. I'll never forget it.

The whole auditorium was quiet in disbelief as we left. Reminded me of when a home team get blown out by an underdog.

It taught me a couple lessons:

1) If you haven't studied, theology (not religion) then it is difficult to really discuss god. No common definition of god really gets established.

2) The criteria for existence doesn't have to be fixed to physical science. Social sciences can provide enough evidence to support god or not.

I'll never forget that debate.

i am not giving logics....all i want to tell is that i am not here without creator....my existance proves i have a creator...and i call him God.

so all i asked a simple question...who is your creator? ..

Anaconda,

My creator personally is my mother and father.

The creator of the earth, and the universe to me is God.

I will assume you are trying to use the "everything must have a creator or come from something" train of thought. That would have been much more understandable than " you are here, i am here, so there must be a god" lol

Your existence only proves that you exist. "I think, therefore I am." You jumped from that to "god exists." What about multiple gods? What about alien gods? Evolution? Scientology?

You're asking the wrong question. You're assuming that a "creator" has to exist for us to be here. For all you know, I'm your creator.

Now if you want get into a biological, chemical, philosophical debate over evolution/DNA -> abiogenesis- > planet & star formation -> formation/existance of the universe --- there are plenty of resources out there that I'm sure you gleefully ignore.

Biology + Chemistry = Abiogenesis (origin of life) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1prZPo4OCL0

But I'm going to assume that it's A) way over your head and B) not something you'd even consider

I've read the king james bible from cover to cover, so don't try to tell me I don't look at both sides.

Where religion is completely based on faith, science is grounded, real, and founded on logic, reason, facts, theories, and hypothesis (a definition you probably confuse often with a theory).

this is the most childish answer i have heard.....your creator is mother and father?..then who is creator of them?..and so on?

truth is...you cant deny the existence of God...no one can.

you exist in a good shape...therefore God exist.

i am not here to debate...i know Scientology and other religions too...just dont presume things if you dont really know the ability and knowledge of other person.

Ancestors -> Evolution.

"I deny the existence of god." Just said it.

You're in a "good shape" because of billions of years of evolution -- beneficial mutations. If we were perfect we'd wouldn't have eye sight that was poorer than other animals, we wouldn't easily succumb to disease and extreme temperatures, or grow old.

Thank god for cancer, baby rapists, and AIDS. Amirite? What a merciful god.

Alright I'm done.
