I can answer this from direct experience. Don't conflate his close rate from his apprenticeship (2010-11) with current rates. While in Russia on holiday I closed three girls in ten days, he closed four in the same timeframe.

It followed the usual route - the fast lays were a point or two below the girls we put onto Long Game. Say 7s and 8s respectively. We daygamed about 3 hours each day.
