Try finding a way to care about it. Ie look at it from another angle.

I sure as shit don't want to be studying for my last final exam (hopefully ever) the material is somewhat interesting and I've taught myself the course via wikipedia (same info just presented better).

Instead of focusing on "I don't want to study this bullshit" I'm proving to myself I can sit down and go hard on something. I'm going to prepare myself to the fullest to prove to myself I can get a good grade even though I bombed the midterm.

No I don't have much experience with it. But there are plenty of people online that have reported long term positive results.

People only "sacrifice" because they HAVE to, not because they WANT to.

Advice for young guys who don't actually know what they want to do? I'm not being ironic, is just that everyone keeps telling me I have to study for my exams to enter a good University to study whatever I like but I don't know if I will actually like that thing.

People who are older than 25 make it seem as if I don't have any chances of success in life if I don't go to University but on the other hand they contradict themselves by telling me that there is more in life than studying and working.

I think of the outcome of my exams more important than it really is.

What did you do after college?

Great call WesternCancer!

This is exactly what I do.

If I find myself doing something that I don't like, I do one of 2 things:

1. Stop doing it

2. Change my perspective

Of course, every once in a while I will have to do something that I don't like. We can't avoid those things 100% of the time.

When I was in school, I didn't want to study for those exams, but, I convinced myself that they were important. I changed my perspective. I promised myself that if I graduated from college I would take a 6 month trip to Brazil, which I did.

Sometimes, we have to play mind games with ourself. We have to find or create the motivation and inspiration.

It's all a mind game. Against yourself.

nootropics

I just googled it.

I use Nootropics. I didn't even realize it.

Wikipedia says Nootropics "are also referred to as smart drugs, memory enhancers, neuro enhancers, cognitive enhancers, and intelligence enhancers, are drugs, supplements, nutraceuticals, and functional foods that purportedly improve mental functions such as cognition, memory, intelligence, motivation, attention, and concentration"

I use "functional foods", a few supplements and also a drug.

Certain foods do make me feel more alert, energetic, and calm. Other foods make me feel tired , lazy, and unfocused.

It's important to find the foods, drugs, and supplements that are right for you. And, it's just as important to avoid the foods, supplements, and drugs that are not right for you.

I often start my day with oatmeal and berries, this gives me lasting energy and alertness.

Vegetables make me feel alive, especially, greens. Fish has a nice soothing effect on my body.

Quality meat helps me to focus and concentrate.

Green tea is a good one for me. Some people like coffee.

I need good water. I use herbs when I cook.

I smoke marijuana. I take vitamins.

All of these things help me to keep my mind calm and focused.

I don't take any of the pharmaceutical drugs. But, some people probably can use them.

I like this Nootropics stuff. I like trying to max out the human body and mind.

Yeah, we spent so much time doing what we think we are supposed to do, that, we often lose track of the things that we actually love to do.

Finish your exams. They are important, right now.

Then, when school is out and you have some free time, focus on yourself, focus on doing the things that you love. Do them all day. Explore the things that really make you happy. Discover the things you like and also the things you love.

Whatever it is that you love, I'm sure there is a career in that. You might have to crate your own career like Roosh has.

Roosh is a great example of doing what you love. He was a biologist but he quit that to chase pussy.

He is an inspiration to me.

You have to be true to yourself and focus on the things you love.

If you don't know what you love, you need to take some time and do some soul searching.

Research it. Explore it. Have fun with it. Discover yourself. Don't become the person that everyone else wants you to be, become the person that you want to be!

You probably love 2 or 3 things. Focus on those things. Don't sacrifice them for anything or anybody.

Create the life that you want.

I tried to play professional basketball. That is what I love.

I worked out for hours everyday and went to a few different countries to try out.

I wasn't good enough. I retired.

So, then, I took a job with my best friend, in a construction company. We built houses. It was a cool job. I felt like an artist. I was working with my best friends. It was awesome for about 2 years.

Then, I realized that I could be doing more of what I loved. I wanted to get into coaching basketball and sports psychology. I went back to school and got my masters. I coached basketball at a university. I played ball everyday and helped younger athletes to max out.

Then, I moved on to a different university and did the same. Then, I got a job coaching in South America. Awesome.

Then, I came back to a university and became a teacher. That was cool for a few years. College girls everywhere!!!

Then, I lived in Brazil for 6 months and taught English.

Then, I realized that I could do more. I quit my teaching job and became a private trainer and sports referee.

Now, I am moving towards becoming a game coach.

I just do what I love and avoid things I don't like.

It has always worked for me.

I don't live my life for other people. I live my life for ME.
