Five Minutes of Alpha = Fifty Years of Pining

Roosh tweeted this excellent Roissy post.

an old woman phantom menstruates over the tiniest memory of a cad with whom she had a brief fling fifty years ago at her peak nubility age of eighteen.

Chateau Heartiste

It reminded me of this old article. Five Minutes of Alpha = Fifty Years of Beta.

Is it wrong for me to find this disappointing? I'm not sure how I should feel about this. Maybe the red pill hasn't been fully digested yet.

Yes. It means on a deeper level that you relate to the beta who she spend 50 years with rather than the alpha she spent 5 minutes with.

There's really no greater feeling for a man's ego than knowing that there are women walking around who continue to fantasize about you years after you parted ways, and who couldn't forget about you if they tried.

I also got a pretty good laugh out of that picture. Probably the most creative way anyone ever made me feel like a bitch.

No doubt. I remember a chick calling me up 7 years after I'd let her go. Said she's still in love with me and would leave her husband if I was still in love with her.
APPARENTLY, I'D BEEN IN LOVE WITH HER IN THE PAST, BUT COULDN'T REMEMBER.

Although I was in NO way interested (she was married to someone I'd grown up with, PLUS had 2 children), that shit gave me a sense of megalomania for a few days.

This has been happening to me a lot lately. Im about to be 35. Girls I smashed back in highschool on up have been messaging me about the good ole days and how I should get in touch with them if I am ever back in town.

I always say something polite but part of me is insulted they think I would even be interested. You arent 20 anymore babe.

Damn, I'm in my mid 20's and all the girls from back in high school and college are getting tired of riding the carousel, have a kid or two and are hitting up the guy they "would be interested in if they wanted to get married" that I used to be. Makes me wonder what I could have been like if only I hadn't taken so long to realize that being the nice guy all the time gets you nowhere.

She was in love with an Allied soldier. That's why the husband got so mad. Salt in an old wound. The ultimate burn.

if she didnt have kids, the right thing to do there would have been to tell her to get the divorce, then pump and dump.

This quote from Heartiste spoke loudly to me:

"It’s as much the fate of women to misconstrue sex as evidence that a man wants a loving relationship as it is the fate of beta males to misconstrue emotional sharing as evidence that a woman wants sex."

Truth and truth again

Would pay money to be a fly on the wall during that fight.

99yo Man: HONEY!! WHAT THE FUCK?!??!

96yo Woman: What?? Can't hear you!

99yo Man: PUT YOUR FUCKING HEARING AID IN YOU OLD HAGASS SLUT!

I'm 43...there is not one girl i stressed over from HS or college who i would even think about today. not one. Facebook, works in the reverse as you get older. To you youngers..this will be a bit traumatic when it first sinks in. The first chick i smashed (who..trust me... would have been anyone's dream girl at 16) is an unmitigated disaster now.

sent my best friend a message when i realized. "f&ck the past...i'm on my own now."

HA HA! This is hilariously true. Just like you, there isn't ONE chick from high school that I would fuck now. There was one in particular that I was tight with, but she wouldn't fuck in high school. She reconnected with me a few years ago after over 20 years, and DAMN. This chick had my ideal body back then, but now...she's just ROUND. A lot of the dudes on FB from back then are still in decent shape, but NONE of the chicks. Not one.

It is always sad to see people deteriorate over time. And it is true, a lot of people just turn to shit over the years.
