That is disgusting. Average BMI for woman 31 point something.

I'd like to see one of these done for the 16-25 population.

So, 20% of body lard is "normal"?

Those people are fucked up.

Croatia's stats are pretty dismal too. Even though we aren't as fat as the top contenders yet, the women here delight in the fact that average male BMI is 1 point higher than average female BMI to delude themselves into thinking that there is no problem at all.

Well don't ever think about coming to Canada or America if you say the Croatian girls are big!

The Gulf states are nasty. Literally they are just buying the Western lifestyle at wholesale with no discerning view at all for its positives and negatives. Anything western they love and if it means getting far and lazy at record pace they are down. You'll soon see Arab dudes from the gulf come here to try and find thinner brides once all their women swell into hippos.

20% bf is normal for women. Trust me, they are the ones you probably find hottest. BMI is a measure of height to weight, not body fat. 20 BMI is not 20% bf.
Its a retarded measure because it doesn't account for muscle, hence Arnie in his prime would have been obese by BMI terms.

Secondly poor countries have shorter populations and thus have any easier chance of being considered overweight when using BMI.

Indeed, I dropped that idea a long time ago! Still, Croatian girls are thin overall, not much to complain about there. But there have definitely been signs lately...

It is true. Women have higher fat percentages then Men. Black women in particular it's not uncommon for then to be at 28-30% bf and still be toned and tight. I think female body builders get down to like 12-15%, that's "shredded" for a female.

This doesn't surprise me considering that Kuwait has one of the highest per capita incomes in the world.

It brings up an interesting philosophical question about wealth: will it always lead to excess?

Japan is a wealthy country. Not nearly the obesity rate of the US or UK. But they are extreme in other ways, just not with junk food. Their game shows make Survivor look like YMCA camp. Does every society go on a Caligula like run toward self destructive excess once they reach a certain level of wealth?

I've never thought there's anything real about Survivor, I mean there is a camera crew following them every step, it's not like their lost in the wilderness trying to survive. Of course, the American public is stupid and will believe anything.

Well, I mentioned this in another post about military field training/ops: it looks easy enough when you're watching it on TV from the safety of our couch. It's alot different when it's you actually doing it.

The show may indeed be a farce, but there's parts of living that way that really do have to suck.
