Treehouse in Bridgeport CT

The entire state of CT is bottom the the barrel. I love how this footage represents a good time and worthy of promo video for this place.

I can't have sex with your personality, and I can't put my penis in your college degree, and I can't shove my fist in your childhood dreams, so why are you sharing all this information with me?

Ha

Jeez.

Mykonos looks awful.

I think it's bc Super Paradise is the gay part opposed to regular Paradise. But I still think Mykonos is worth avoiding for the crazy fat chicks, high prices, and unpleasant vibes from locals.

There's been soem great candidates mentioned so far on this thread, but in all honesty, no place can match, let alone beat this:

T-O-R-O-N-T-O.

Places You Don't Want To Be

I just spent 40 hours on a train in a wagon full of rough assed coal miners covered in prison tattoos. The city I'm in is in the Russian Arctic. There are no roads in or out just the railway across the tundra and the twice weekly flight out that is cancelled more often than not. It's minus 35c today. There is no Internet cafe in the entire city meaning I can't pipeline which makes my job up here ten times harder since day game in this weather ain't happening. Last night I got jumped by two guys in a stairwell of a suburban apartment. No damage done so no problem. The people here are either coal miners or descendants of gulag prisoners which was why this city was built.

The city I am in is Vorkuta. The only saving grace is that the women are beautiful and I have as a foreigner, more rock star status than anywhere I have ever been.

I'll let you know after a week if coming to Russia's biggest shithole was a good decision or not.

If you have a low tolerance for old people, don't come to Japan (even Tokyo is 20% 65+ now).

Just to give you an idea of what Vorkuta is like, it isnt just your average EE industrial shithole, it was built as a gulag.

Welcome to Vorkuta

The story is the so-called "Cerda Plan" for Barcelona. The original intent was to create high-density housing with proper ventilation and access to small greenspaces inside the blocks. This original vision, however, soon had to be overhauled due to excess demand and population growth and the open spaces were filled in, creating a sea of idential-looking blocks that are similar to a concrete beehive now.

You are joking right?

That is Barcelona.

I used to live two blocks from Sagrada Famila.

That is definitely a place you want to be.

Only every block is completely unique with some of the most beautiful architecture of any city in the world.

That's what I was thinking when I saw the picture. That temple to the left center looks dope as fuck. Spain has been on my radar for some time now.

Yeah, that is a crazy picture.

But really, Barcelona is a standard grid (at least the part in the photo, shown at top right):

Gracia and Barrio Gotico being obvious exceptions.

Barcelona can also look like this, depending on your vantage point:

At street level Barcelona looks nothing like what that picture shows. I was shocked myself when I saw that picture.

People go here as part of a carnival cruise stop. I did it on spring break when I was 21. Great time, but had girls from the cruise with me...
