We have Nando’s in Australia too. The food is surprisingly good for a franchised takeaway shop.

Can someone here tell me how a young, white American guy who speaks both Spanish and Portuguese would do with women in the Iberian Peninsula? Where I live in the U.S., Spanish is very common and I also learned Brazilian Portuguese a while back. Overall, I would say I am average in terms of looks/appearance. I have nice features, but my main disadvantage is that I'm not that big of a guy.
I would say I have decent social skills too.
In the bigger cities (Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, Porto, Valencia, Malaga...) there is plenty of foreign women to game. The locals can be pretty cliquey as mentioned countless times in this thread. In the smaller cities you can have the exotic factor on your favor, and people in general are more warming and welcoming, both of these I think are common traits of Spain and Portugal. So, I would say that by your description there is no apparent reason for failure around here.
Thanks man, and yeah, from what I hear EE women love Mediterranean men too. Also, I don't understand why everyone here doesn't like Portuguese women. I've always thought that Portuguese and Spanish women have very nice facial features. And, how is the Catholic Church doing there? If I did happen to find a high-quality girl, would an LTR be worth it? Also, my Brazilian friends joke that the girls in Portugal all have moustaches? What can I expect kkkk?

Catholic church is a joke in Spain. I assume its the same in Portugal. But i'm sure some one else can chime in.

Thruth. I went last time to church on the 1st November, day of all Saints, National hollyday, and it was only old people.
That's pretty much what I suspected... I'd imagine the church is doing a little bit better in Spain than the U.S. though. In my diocese, the priest shortage has actually forced many churches to import priests from Spain, Poland, and Africa.
