Are you surprised? I mentioned this for the original Travelbum season. The presence of paid shoots gives the show this "pro" element.

If this chick is doing cam work, its almost 1000% guaranteed that she's a prepago i.e. she does "something strange for some change." Also,
plastic surgery is not like a root canal, that you are walking around and about in 24 hours after its done. A chick whose doing the breast implant/lipo/Brazilian butt lift combo will be out of commission for at least 4-12 weeks. The only way a Colombiana will agree to see you after 4+ weeks AND lets you film her is if there's something in it for her.

But fuck it, there's no such thing as truly true "reality TV." They all take their poetic licenses one way or another. Mixx pointed out that in Colombian once you stick a camera in any of these broads faces they freeze and cramp up on you. However, I do think his videos are more realistic that Vitalyzdtv ones...

I like that he was honest with regards to Medellin. He didn't paint Medellin as some "poosy paradise" where you going to get your cock sucked as soon as you clear customs.

Overall, very well made and entertaining video.

Yeah I helped out on a reality pilot for HGTV once (that never aired). A one "room" makeover took 3 days whereas we made it seem as if everything was done in one afternoon with the guest being surprised by the makeover that night. It was still however a surprise bc the person was accommodated with a hotel room those nights.

His portrayal of Paisas as being flaky and not responding well to his lame day time approaches was accurate (also those day time approaches were truly terrible. He was saying dumb stuff just for the camera.)

As far as the hot girl at the end that he takes to the motel for sex....

yeah right. Not saying that's not going to happen, or that he couldn't pull that type of girl, but to hold a camera to the chicks face and go "now we're going to the motel! Let's fuck!"

Then it turns out she's a cam girl.....

No surprise here. Obviously the shit was paid for.

And at the end he's just going to take a camera to the girls place and confront her boyfriend. "Reality" tv sounds about right.

I agree. In addition to his complete lack of command of the Spanish language, the things he was saying to them were really stupid and the reactions which he got aren't what I'm used to seeing. In Latin America, I either get a straight rejection or a very warm response.

Some of it was clearly staged, but I like his overall attitude- friendly, confident, fun. The way you emote to these girls is usually the way they will act back to you. I thought his biggest mistake (besides his clothes) was trying to set dates to meet girls out places. Colombianas will show up an hour late without an apology, if they show up at all. A better play is to invite your day approaches to a bar where you already like to hang out. If they all flake, at least you're drinking beer at a bar where there are presumably other women. And if more than one shows up, good. Let them fight it out for you, it appeals to their jealous nature anyway.

Why do Colombian chicks find it acceptable to show up an hour late, or not at all?

Do men do the same for business meetings and such, or is it just females who do this?

Men do it to. One thing that is often overlooked is that it's also fairly common for people to show up really early, wondering where you are.

Would I be right to assume that this behaviour of showing up late tends to stop after you have been with a girl for a few months in Colombia?

My Cuban girlfriends were both like that for the first month or 2. One time one of them showed up at the bar probably a solid 2.5 hours late. Now they've gotten pretty good at being on time.

Couldn't this problem be solved by telling the girl to meet you 1-2 hrs before you actually want to meet?

"Let's meet at 8p" (you actually want to meet at 9:30p)

Problem solved.

That will take care of the late ones, but still exposes you to the no-shows. Of course, you can just add in the "call me when you get there" trick, and then hop in a taxi only after she's arrived and has called/texted you.

I'm not sure why Colombians are that way, but the unwritten rule seems to be that if you tell a girl to meet you at 8, she will start getting ready at 8. Not all of them are like that, but certainly way too many.

Travel bum is a gifted videographer, fearless approach machine, and about as hopeless as they come as far as game is concerned.

His lifestyle may be red pill, but his game mindset is stuck in blue. If he just read a few game eBooks, or even the newbie forum here, he could learn some basics, and stop saying these cringe worthy amateur mistakes he constantly makes.

Nohomo dude is good looking, but he's been coasting off that. Nowhere near his true potential as a mack.

In Medellin I actually solved the problem by

1) Inviting 3 or 4 girls out on any given night
2) Arrange to meet at my local metro stop
3) Tell them to text me when then get there.
4) Dont even leave the house until I get the text

Simon Black posted a cool article about Medellin today.

http://www.sovereignman.com/expat/this-c...dar-13690/

Quote:Quote:

$1 billion.

That’s how much the old Medellin drug cartel under Pablo Escobar used to lose annually to rats that would eat the currency stored in their warehouses.

At its height, the cartel was smuggling 15 tons of cocaine per year into the US. And its leader Pablo Escobar was one of the richest men in the world… so rich, in fact, he offered at one point to pay off Colombia’s $10 billion national debt.

At the time their home base of Medellin was the most violent city in the world owing to urban wars among Colombia’s rival drug cartels. The city’s people mostly stayed at home and there was hardly any social life.

But things started to change dramatically with the death of Pablo Escobar in 1993, and even more after 2002 when Colombia’s president Álvaro Uribe used the military to disband urban militias.

Today, Medellin is one of the most vibrant cities on the South American continent. The crime rate is now lower than in most US cities. Over the past 20 years it has gone through a remarkable urban renewal and revitalization.

The city’s parks have been brought back to life, urban transport is widespread and efficient, including a metro system and cable cars that ferry people up and down the hillside.

Most importantly, the people have shrugged off worries and dark memories of the turbulent past and now look into the future with excitement and optimism.

There is a very noticeable ‘can do’ mentality here, which stands in stark contrast to some other places in Latin America.

The city lies about 1,500 m high in the Andean mountains and the sky is quite literally the limit here.

In 2012 Medellin was named as the most innovative city in the world in a competition sponsored by The Wall Street Journal and Citi, beating New York and Tel Aviv as the other finalists.

It boasts 32 universities, a technological innovation hub, and a manufacturing cluster—it’s the top exporting region of Colombia. International companies are increasingly choosing Medellin as their Latin American headquarters.

Foreigners are slowly getting taken over by the charms of the city—its perfect climate with stable year-round temperatures of 16-28 degrees and no humidity despite being near the Equator.

Medellin has an exciting, vibrant culture and social life… not to mention tremendous opportunities as Colombia shrugs off its outdated stigma. The country is truly emerging as one of the most exciting investment and business environments in the world.

In fact, Medellin’s property market is one of the most attractive I’ve seen.

For a city of its size, its increasing economic might, and its allure for foreigners, it’s incredible that you can still find beautiful bargain-priced apartments and penthouses in the best areas of the city for around $1,000 per square meter.

If you’re in search for attractive and exciting investing, business and lifestyle opportunities, Medellin should definitely be on your radar.

I just watched this again. Colombian women to me are the hottest on earth. All those girls on the soccer field would get it. An the Isabelle girl was crazy hot to. I never really thought I was a fan of plastic surgery but she was hot as fuck after she got it, and only hot as hell before she had it. I feel like I am cheating myself for even considering going back to Asia instead of South America. I don't however speak any Spanish and I really enjoyed Asia. If Asia was filled with girls that looked like Colombians I would be in heaven!! They would have to have the personalities and ease of Asians to.

In reality I can go back to Asia when I am older an still kill it. Perhaps I should use this time in my young life to hit up places where I would have problems getting younger girls as a older guy.

Damn did he take the videos down?? I'm not sure why he does that.... I am waiting for part 2 of his Medellin series.

Colombia is the end goal for me. I am gonna start my South American trip in Lima Peru in May and work on my Spanish and salsa dancing. After that I wanna check out Panama, Costa Rica and maybe Cuba. Saving the best for last, I want to be damn near fluent in espanol before I go to Colombia. After that I plan on checking out EE and making another Asia run then I may purchase a house in South America. That's the plan for now at least.

As far as flakiness and being late, I was there for 1 month. I have had a friend cancel on me a few times because of rain or some other thing but they all let me know a day in advance or hours in advance if they saw it raining, etc. The only girls that canceled were just merely girls that I made friends with mainly cause they spoke english and weren't hot or had a bf. The ones that canceled on me did take me out to a couple places and they did pay for their own beers and mine. They just got done studying in the US and lived around Estrella which is on the good side of centro. The other girls that I did date, never flaked on me and were almost always on time and would blow up my phone if I was like 5 mins late. Some were too poor to have a phone at all (serious). There's a lot of pay phones and street vendors who sell minutes to use their phone.

Many girls bring their friends. Social circle is a big deal. I even had one woman who is kinda my main squeeze, bring her children the first date. She didn't let me know til last minute she had kids. Ironically, of all the girls, I like her the best but the kids thing.. ugh.

The bad side of centro, I think it's east.. it's very poor. Everyone has a house and have enough to live but no one has any money.

I'll be returning there in about 2 months.. so yeah, it's nice enough to be there but the food probably the major downside and it does rain a bit even though every day that it doesn't, it's perfect outside.
