Got linked to a page on facebook, this is the first thing I see :

On February 14th the world marks an international day of protest against violence towards women. We are a group of men that decided to act, and send a message. To say loud and clear, that there is no more room for violence towards women in our society.
We call upon men all around the world that share this message with us, to join the international protest on 14.2.13, and wear throughout the day an item of feminine clothing for solidarity and for spreading the message:

Women and men join in saying "no" to violence, in saying that women should be able to walk the streets safely at night, should not feel like they are worth any less then men. In saying that the rampant sexual exploitation and violence towards women should cease to exist.

On 14.2 we come to work or to school or walk the streets wearing a feminine item of clothing: heels, a skirt, a dress, lipstick, a hair ribbon - whatever suits you
So how about it? are you in?

How about an international protest of violence against ANYONE if you're going to do something ?

At first I read this as "International Day of Violent Protest Against Women." That might be going too far.

I can't listen to the radio now here because every ad break has Travis Lulay of the BC Lions shoving down the message that "all domestic violence are caused by men." "Man up and stop violence against women".

While I am against violence against anyone, I dislike having the message that women are the only victims shoved into my ears every two minutes.

I wonder how many of those reported rapes are false? or worse, where the girl felt bad the next day and to save face, claimed a rape?

that's truly fucked up! what a sad freaking joke to have the media even worst, male athletes continue to spread those lies. How about domestic violence against males? Or worst, the legal system being there to screw men in favor of the females? Why don't we hear male pro athletes MAN UP and start raising awareness against those injustices against men?

This is spot on!

We had this crew working for us in a construction project and, believe me, most workers suffered violent attacks from their girlfriends/wifes. As to why this happens, you can argue, they maybe be pussies, or too shy to pay back in kind, or often too drunk to realize what's going on (or all of this together and god knows what else...)

- So, this guy doesn't show up at the site. The day after he shows up full of wounds, small and deep spots, on his back. He claimed "he fell from the stairs". Later, he admits he was beaten by his girlfriend with a stick which had nails on it during a drunken argument.

- This other guy shows up with a few teeth missing. He claimed he "fell from the bycicle". He had been actually beaten up, it turns out later, by his wife during a neurotic crisis of jealosy fed by copious amounts of booze. This guy's wife has actually two "husbands", our worker at the site and a neighbor of his. And not long ago they teamed up together because this woman was "betraying them" with somebody else...go figure.

- This is the best real-life story: This truly outrageously beautiful, tall, slim, perfect black girl, a 9-10 sort of catwalk model, shows up at the site holding a baby with one arm and a stick with another. As I opened the porch she sort of threw the baby for me to hold it and she proceeded to beat the crap out of her boyfriend. I expelled them both from the site, gave her back the baby, told them to settle their private stuff on the street.

There was a heated argument (the guy didn't go back home during the weekend) and people gathered around them; I heard a call that the guy should to be lynched as some people assumed automatically that it was the guy who was the agressor; then someone else called the police and the cops arrived.

While the cops tried to control the angry crowd and seemed to be about to arrest our worker, the girl then smartly pretended to faint and fell on the ground. It worked because then an ambulance was called and they all vanished with the paramedics, including the baby which remained rather calm throughout the whole mess.....

A couple of years ago, I wouldn't have believed such things were not at all uncommon, but now I have seen enough to know that a lot of shit really happens to these losers.

I remember a stat or someone saying that women actually commit more violent acts against men than men against women, but of course when a man does it it tends to be a lot stronger. Not to mention men face a lot more mental abuse from illogical emotional women.

Here are some of the ads that I mentioned earlier.

Of course these ads leverage children and sports stars in order to get their skewed message across. They fail to mentioned that mental abuse will probably have a longer lasting impact on children, with some children that are going to imitate their emotional mothers once they grow up. Look at all the entitled bitches out there today.

In regards to the aboriginal issue, a lot of murdered and missing aboriginals were due to psychopaths and serial killers such as Robert Pickton and the several others in Northern BC on the highway of tears.
