Do you guys do anything different for a girl on Valentines day or is just business as usual?

Don't do anything for Valentine's Day, I think it's a good day to go out and find women, lots of women drinking their sorrows woe betide their loneliness, stupid cunts.

Valentines Day

I hate V-day for the simple reason that it brings us massive amounts of ads claiming that men need to purchase flowers/ diamonds etc to show their angelic female partners that they "are worth it". The holiday is entirely commercial and was invented/ revived by corporations trying to make profits.
When I was in relationships V-day always brougth conflict because girls seemed to feel entitled to a minimum of dinner, flowers, chocolates, jewelry and did not take my refusal to partake very kindly.

As a rule I don't want any woman thinking I care too much about them, so I do a trick. I'll surprise them by cooking something fancy a week or so before valentines day, then give them a good fucking afterwards.

As we approach valentines day I just send out a, hey sorry I'm busy with work this week.

Keeps them happy, nobody complains, and yet at the same time, keeps them wondering who I am seeing valentines day - so nobody feels too important. If yo uskip the pull section of this push/pull, you might lose a few from your harem.

What about girls you have no logistical way of seeing? I've thought about maybe sending a soft, happy v-day, text just to keep them in rotation.

I've rewarded girls with a romantic dinner for their good behavior. No candies, stuffed animals, or cards. Anytime one expected it? She got a whole day full of nada!

nah, ignoring them is even better for you, they'll chase you for it, don't give them squat. Then when it's time for their weekly rotation, you send them a feeler message and go and smash

I usually take my girl for a nice dinner and maybe buy her flowers or a nice gift. I'm engaged. When I was less attached, I didn't do shit for any of the girls I was banging. Valentine's day is a good day to pick up.

Valentine's day is also good to test a girl's quality if you're thinking about getting serious. If she just expects to get shit, she is shit. If she demonstrates her commitment to you by buying you gifts, cooking you dinner, etc. then she's not a self-involved narcissist like most women.

Good to know. I have a girl that we see each other about every 2 or 3 days and usually hang out a least once on the weekend but I'm trying to decide if I get her anything or not.

I was typing some shit out, but you hit it. Even if you cook her dinner, it's a litmus test. I fucking hate when bitches expect stupid shit. Like being like every other couple they know going out to a restaurant.

One way to do it on the cheap is totally ignore the day, so she expects nothing, then hit her with something small. The thought counts, especially when you pre starve her hamster.

Damn, dude3737 had a bomb post about making a crazy madhatter cake. That might work.

On our first Valentine's Day, my girl cooked me dinner...barefoot in the kitchen wearing just her underwear. She bought me a couple of gifts too. Of course I bought her a traditional romantic gift. The fact that she considered the holiday an opportunity for couples to celebrate their mutual affection helped to win me over.
Most American women put little effort into their relationships. If a woman doesn't understand the importance of demonstrating her commitment, then she is incapable of making a meaningful contribution to a family, beyond her uterus of course.

I definitely support the small gifts idea, especially if you're on a budget. As long as you take a strong lead in the relationship, all you really need is a random small gift every few months to make her swoon. A few flowers on a random Tuesday do more for a girl when they come from a real man, than a diamond ring does coming from some chump.

They were yammering on the radio about how a girl's gift to her guy on Valentine's Day is sex in return for his flowers, $$$ dinner, lingerie, jewelry, etc. They were literally saying things like "you guys should love Valentine's Day...we alllll know what you're gonna get at the end of the night if you do you do everything right".

What a crock of shit.

"...it's the quiet cool...it's for someone who's been through the struggle and come out on the other side smelling like money and pussy."

"put her in the taxi, put her number in the trash can"

This fits the definition of a whore: sex for payment.

Remember kids, as long as money is not directly exchanged for sex it's not prostitution.

I agree here: If you have hand in the relationship, then I think it's less about what you do on a day like Valentines Day, and more about how you do it.
  • Tying a single rose to her windshield wiper before she wakes up > workplace delivery of a dozen roses
  • Filling her mailbox with her favorite candy> $200 dinner
  • One sentence hadnwritten note she finds hidden in her purse > elaborate Hallmark card
IMO.

Liked your post because it shows you have some grown man game in you, and it's refreshing, a stark contrast from the "I won't buy a girl a drink even though she just danced six songs of salsa with me because some guy I don't know told me it isn't alpha" shit.
