Norton Blocks Men's Sites

Have any of you seen this article at MRA London? As of late yesterday, Norton is blocking a list of men's sites.

http://www.mralondon.org/2013/02/press-r...mment-form

Once again, under the guise of "equality" or "tolerance," men are being censored and attacked. I say that we should all boycott Norton products, if you haven't already. Most people know that their antivirus programs suck.

Anyway, I thought that everyone should know about the latest feminist efforts to silence us. RooshV and Return of Kings are not on the list...yet.

Time to drop norton, plenty of other software out there.

I have been using Kaspersky for years. It is way better. Does not bog your computer down like Norton does.

I only use Avast and haven't had a virus in a long time. The ONLY time was a couple years ago when I was buried deep without access to internet for months, and couldn't update.

I don't think using antivirus software is a good idea.

That said, this is Norton DNS, which is not an antivirus, though it is made by the same company. It's used to block out porn sites and other undesirables in schools, libraries, workplaces, and others.

If you're going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It's the only good fight there is.

Do you use the basic free version? I don't really think I need to find a torrent for the full one. I hardly even go on porn sites anymore.

Only the basic one. They won't let me upgrade when I'm overseas. Their security is tight. That's a good sign though.

Paid anti-virus software to me just feels like a scam, considering many of the free alternatives have better heuristics.

Gotta vouch for Kaspersky. It has the most control and flexibility of antivirus suites that I've found, plus the detection rates and false positive rates are pretty good.

Lifting toilet seats is beta. I stand up and shit in urinals and piss on the floor.

Probably some feminist shit bag was put in charge, and you all know how feminists love a censoring.

Avira is the way to go, but that is just shameful. I've never seen any extreme-feminist websites censored by business or governments, and they're way worse with open calls to murder, castrate and do other shit to men. MRAs are just listing some facts and not threatening anyone!

Norton was good until the early 2000s, now it's mostly Kaspersky, Avira and Avast. You shouldn't really use Norton anyway.

I remember reading about some scheme regarding Norton owners who programmed their own system-destroying viruses just to make people buy their software which was the only one capable of defence.

Some MRA sites are pretty bad, I admit, but no worse than the bad feminist websites.

This is worrying. It should be major news.

Forgot about having malware protection. 3100 errors. Was wondering why my laptop was running like shit lately. +1 from me.

I recommend Avast free edition. It's good.

That said, no antivirus is actually good at stopping a real infection in the wild. Like the recent FBI moneypak virus. I've seen it get past avast, norton, avg, mcafee, kaspersky, trend the whole lot.

Best bet is to use chrome for your porn needs, don't install java (or disable it), and turn off the adobe reader browser extension.
