With today's chemistry, there is no reason to get "grey" at all. Maybe leave a little around the temples, but otherwise, cover it up.

What do you mean todays 'chemistry' I'm assuming this is something other than Just For Men

Get a CFA. The knowledge alone is worth it. Level one is tough, but if you take a review class, it will be easier.

When people tell you "Less education is better - TRUST ME!", ask yourself: Is that usually true?

I'd like to pass it for sure, otherwise all the money would be wasted for nothing. However, CFA isn't of much value when you graduated college with a CGPA of 2.8.

Just saw this and this is false. The CFA is not needed for Wall Street, don't believe me go look up Qatalyst partners, i will do it for you guys.

http://www.qatalyst.com/team.html#quattrone

How many people at one of the best Tech M&A shops have the CFA you ask? How about 1 in the entire firm of 30+ people?

Also all those guys with CFA's that run hedge fund portfolios or even long-only funds... Warren Buffet CFA? No.

Go ahead and google the top 40 hedge fund managers... see how many are CFA... here's the list have a blast.

I will say one positive thing about the CFA, it protects your downside, IE with a CFA you're generally in a higher pay bracket if you ever get fired. Saying everyone should get it or needs it is BS though. You can run this test at any investment bank or hedge fund. Go to their Managing director list and see how many CFA's you see in investment banking.

The best places for the CFA is equity research/asset management. For Investment banking or a hedge fund though, it is 100% not needed and you can run the numbers to see the truth.

Westcoast, I realize it's not needed, but with a crappy ass GPA like that I had only one other option, CPA.

Yes with a bad gpa then be CFA would help if you want to go to research/banking/sales... However, if you at e trying for an entry level you won't need more than CFA level 1. Getting all three levels done with no job experience = useless.

Who says you can't suit up at 22? Dude, I used to wear a white blazer at age 19 and you wouldn't catch me ever wearing any flip flops hahaha. Even now just turning 23, I tend to always wear a vest n tie with jeans. Women always compliment me on my style. Also I hang in the high end scene, I watch TONS of young guys in some killer suits n blazer/jeans combo.

Thing is, are you congruent to carrying yourself in such a manner?

I remember recently bringing out my guy friends to one of my other social circles and due to all of us having similar but distinct looks, I heard some of my female friends saying to each other that were like the motley crew.

I knew a guy in high school, 10th grade he was wearing suits

All in all, I can only imagine how well this would be in college because how many people in college have style?

like others said its about congruence.

If you wanna pull it off in college you can't be suiting up and then going back to your dorm room to crush natty lights after class.

You better have your own place, decent vehicle, and a biz project.

None of that, just a bunch of clothing, so yea it's not very congruent at all. I stopped suiting daily already, it's not very comfy and it's kinda warm now.

I stopped suiting up because all my suit pants are too long, I finally realized how bad it looked. It's time to get those pants altered and jackets shortened. I also need to buy a pair of designer shoes. Once I get some money, I'll start suiting up again, not just for girls to notice me, but for the sheer fact that I bought those suits.

I'm about to start suiting up daily (I'm 26). I like how I feel and look in a good suit. Also getting into international business and need to look the part haha. Living in China means I can get decent tailored suits (not Savile Row but that will come later) for a good price, so it seems like a no brainer. Will spend money on shoes when I'm back in the UK as I need some more and its the wrong area to economize.

My easy fashion advice is for people to just wear what ever why feel good in, as long as the quality is good and they fit well. Saying that someone can't pull off a suit at 22 is bullshit, many couldn't for sure but its all down to how you carry yourself. Watch 'Searching for Sugarman' (cracking film), and observe how the main protagonist does home renovations wearing a tux, looking like a total boss.

As someone else mentioned thrift stores are great if you are on a budget. First find an item of clothing that is cut in a way that really works for your body shape, then pay someone to cut the rest of your clothes to match it. Plenty of broke fashion students around who will do it for a small sum. Return to the thrift stores to buy more clothes, now even stuff that doesn't fit you exactly can be made to do so. You will look great with a small expenditure. OP you UK based? Head to rich areas and seek out the charity shops. I'm from London, areas like Chelsea and Kensington are great for this. Also outer South West London boroughs. I've had some great finds in these areas. The best pair of shoes I own were bought round there a few years back for £17, they had barely been worn.

This is for night game only though.
