So this will be the first time i've travelled overseas. Planning to go in November this year, hitting up Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand for 30 nights with 3 friends.
This forum is a great resource. I know there are threads on Thailand, etc. already but this is more for help on whether or not this is a realistic itinerary.
Plan is to fly from Sydney --> Ho Chi Minh City
15 nights in Vietnam
5 in HCM
8 in Hue/Da Nang/Hoi An
2 Phu Quoc Island
Ho Chi Minh --> Phnom Penh
7 nights in Cambodia, split 3/4 between Phnomh Penh and Siam Reap.
Siam Reap --> Bangkok
8 nights Bangkok
I will be flying from HCM -> Da Nang and back and then to Phu Quoc, but the rest I want to do overland on taxis/trains/buses. Would this be enough time to enjoy the sites, relax, and pull?
Any advice on the above locations and time spent in each?
cheers
