Finland loves Return Of Kings

Before this day is over, a big chunk of the 20-35 population in Finland will have read this article:

http://www.returnofkings.com/3059/the-5-...o-get-laid

They are proud that one of their own clubs made the top of the list.

http://www.nelonen.fi/uutiset/viihde/466...lupaikalle

http://www.aamulehti.fi/Kotimaa/11947910...ntola.html

http://nyt.fi/20130125-bloggari-vaeittae...auspaikka/

Most of the traffic is coming from Facebook. This is about twice as big as the ugliest feminist post from a couple week ago. It's quite a massive bomb, with over 600 concurrent visitors. The site usually has about 80.

The best part of this is that we're not getting any hate. People seem to enjoy the article.

Finland is pretty damn big by the looks of it. Bigger than Germany, France, UK etc. How much of it is actually habited though I don't know.

edit - not much!

There's 5 million people here. Top 10 sparsely inhabited. Only Namibia is less crowded, and that's all desert.

Then again, Finland has desert too. Northern desert.

A Roosh Sausage Bomb™ is going to hit that klub tonight. I wonder how long the destruction will last.

If I were the DJ there, I'd be playing this in Roosh's name every night:

What I'm liking about this is that the Finnish are also now dropping off more tips about the nightlife in Helsinki in the reply section

Here's some comments by the Marketing Manager of the Club. Translation by me:
Quote:Quote:

Phones have been ringing and the Facebook and chat have been filled with people asking about the listing. It would be really enjoyable to laugh to the listing with the buddies but it offends our female customers. The same women who visit our Club also visit other clubs. We do not want anyone to be offended by the listing.

However, he continues by saying that the Club has relaxed atmosphere developed over the years and that is the reason why people get together in the Club.

I checked the Finnish references to the article and it seems that it has been referenced at least a few major Finnish radio stations, the second largest newspaper in Finland, a TV station etc.

Helsingin Sanomat, the local newspaper and the most important one in Finland, has a story in their print edition today where they test whether Milliklubi is really the promised land. The story is also online at http://nyt.fi/20130208-testasimme-saako-...n-seksiae/.

Google Translate and Finnish do not always go that well together but the English version is understandable.

One thing though:
Quote:Quote:

Miehet eivät ole ainoita, joita paikan latautunut tunnelma vetää puoleensa. Kolmekymppinen, nimettömänä pysyttelevä nainen sanoo sen suoraan:

”Täältä saa aina munaa.”

Google Translate offers this translation:

Quote:Quote:

Men are not the only ones being charged atmosphere of the place attracts. Thirties, an anonymous woman says it directly:

"Here you will always be a dick."

The following is a better translation:
Quote:Quote:

Men are not the only ones being attracted by the loaded atmosphere of the club. An anonymous woman in her thirties says it directly: "Here you can always get cock (literally: balls)."

Notice that the article was not in the actual newspaper but in the "Nyt" supplement provided along the newspaper. The printed version was two broadsheets with large photographs.
