Jorge Selaron's body was discovered on the 215-step staircase in the bohemian neighbourhood of Lapa in Rio de Janeiro on Thursday.

Wow...I've seen these steps featured on any number of travel and other television shows about Brazil. But along with the beauty of what he created there, there's the reality of where he lived.

Yeah I've been there and met him as well. He can usually be found hanging around the steps and he was continually adding art to them. Apparently, he may have burned himself to death.
