A Man Wants a Wife, Not a “Co-Worker”

The title says it all.

In the comments of ROK someone suggested to google this article. I thought it was worth sharing.

Can you imagine coming home to an exquisitely cooked meal made from scratch every day? Frankly, it sounds pretty damn amazing and it makes me sad at what has been lost in America. The author of the article, Uncle Elmer (not his real photo), imported a Vietnamese woman to have a wife and not a co-worker. She reluctantly agreed to let him wash the dishes after dinner every night, but wasn't happy about it.

A Man Wants a Wife, Not a “Co-Worker”

Here are some choice excerpts from the article:

" It is no small wonder that the growing obesity epidemic has swollen along with the rise in women’s employment as millions of families make do with convenient preassembled synthi-food and hamburger franchise takeout. Working women don’t have time or inclination to purchase, prepare, and cook delicious home meals. A steady feminist propaganda campaign has also cast women’s kitchen work at best as servile domesticity..."

...

"Like most Asians, she has a passion for food culture, but her enjoyment of cooking borders on art. And while every Viet restaurant in town has offered her a job on the spot because for some reason they know automatically that she is a great cook, I prefer she stay home and take care of the house. For me it is worth the reduced income to have a cheerful wife preparing great meals at home."

A choice comment from the article:

"The real truth is….

Expecting an 'university educated' woman to be a wife is as futile as expecting a fried chicken to lay an egg."

I see his point, but he's for a trad con lifestyle. One woman who does woman things well. He imported a wife to cook him admittedly delicious-looking meals, but at the end of the day, he still has a wife. The guys on spearhead are so excited by this, but I guess I'm not. Anyway, good for him, but I don't think it's a choice I would make.

I see your point, however traditional values evolved over millennia to serve whatever purposes advanced survival the most for society. Women have abandoned these values in western society and we are paying dearly for it - including demographic ruin. It is nice to see these values still exist.

Also, ask yourself how long the player lifestyle is suitable? 10, 15, 20 years? It is a question worth asking.

Would you be better off banging sluts for years or being productive with a wife keeping a great household, cooking nutritious meals, and freeing up more of your time? I don't have the answer.

Edit: Perhaps these things aren't mutually exclusive. Having a mistress or banging on the side is widespread for successful men in latin America, parts of Europe (think France), Russia, and most of Asia. It is just not tolerated in former British colonies and probably some other places I don't know of yet.

I'm all for it, except that this guy insists on washing the dishes.

I fully support this lifestyle choice as well.

I'm not decided on it absolutely, but I foresee marrying someday, and it will 99% likely be an Asian woman or a woman from some other traditional background. A desire to marry is nothing to be ashamed of as long as a guy maintains control of the relationship.

Some of the most centered, impressive, charismatic, and in-control men I've ever met were married or had a woman at home that might as well have been a wife. Who cooked and cleaned and looked after the kids while he worked.

Some played on the side. Others did not. that's a personal choice and irrelevant to me.

Beyond All Seas

"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe.
To be your own man is a hard business. If you try it, you'll be lonely often, and sometimes
frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." - Kipling

All fair points. Hell, I live a life closer to him now than I do to Roosh, so I should not be talking smack. However, a steady woman of any kind does not really free up your time in my experience, they take more of it, even if they do other things like cooking.

I guess I was objecting to the marriage thing, having done it already. And yeah, chasing tail long term is a real pain in the ass.

Definitely agree on the Asian thing, as long as they are FOB and a substantial part of their life was lived in their home country. If they've been born here, they are not the same.
