OP,

If classes start when I'm still here, I'd glady test the universities day game -- but tell me where.

Can somebody tell me what is the best area to stay in cali for day game?

I want to be in a area where i see lots of big butt women during the day and i can approach them. If you know santo domingo, i am thinking an area like el conde, duarte or the state university (la uas). Somewhere where it is easy to meet women during the day, i am not too interested in night game.

I would appreciate if somebody could throw some information on that.

Years ago I met a good looking American guy that didn't know a word of Spanish that picked up chicks almost daily by hanging out at lunch spots around an English school called Meyer.

http://www.institutomeyer.com/

Have no idea if the chicks that go to this institute have bigger butts on average.

Outstanding trip report! Just a couple of minor thoughts. I would not consider Cali to be the Salsa Capital. There are some groups like Grupo Niche, for instance, that I like, but Puerto Rico has the best salsa, IMHO. Also, Cuba makes a huge push with traditional son, salsa and now timba. On another note, I could never get with that Kid & Play salsa/cumbia style in Cali but maybe I will adapt when I get there.

Colombia has a good amount of morenas and negritas. For darker skinned women, some might want to check out somewhere like Choco

get ready for a LOT of salsa. pretty much everywhere. Gets really old after a while.

I spent three weeks there and I don't really know if there was any place that was a hip hop spot.

you'll occasionally hear ludacris' "move bitch" mixed in with some salsa tracks.

As far as day game, Granada is not a good spot. BUT granada is the nicest spot in town, and in fact I really enjoyed it there except for it being a bit boring at night and having few day game options.

If you say you live in Granada girls will say "muy exlusivo" or sometthing like that. You ccan use the MIO bus to get up to chipichape mall. You're also close to centro, which is a crowded dump but at least it's kind of fun during the day.

I just came back from Cali for a quick weekend trip. The girls are hot,,,,, in general, are more voluptuous than the girls from medellin.

I enjoyed the bars on 66 (south Cali),,,it was really popping on Friday night. For those who've been to medellin, it's a much smaller version of 33 in Laureles. There are some cool rock bars, crossover etc. I didn't like menga in the north at all. I went to jala jala, space and tried maldito primavera. Maldito, didn't allow single guys entry, yet they let in a bunch of cougars who can't rub two pesos together.....anyhow was told that there are lots if single girls groups there,,,,not really judging from the lineup. As for the other 2, yes it's crossover, but with a Cali twist. More salsa was included. Personally, I am not a fan of salsa for a large portion of the night. The set up of the booths didn't allow intermixing so easily and it was quite loud. Plus there were no standing areas by the bar, just service area. Going solo to menga will be tough. Not gonna recommend it.
I heard there was a solos and solas place (singles) bar on 6 (sexta) or in Granada? But didn't go. I am sure the longer one is there, you will figure out the spots to go solo or with somebody.

Cali seems more dangerous than medellin. It could be the taxi drivers are always reminding you how dangerous it is or the people u are with checking the drivers information each time u take a cab. That is common in colombia, yet somehow I felt unsafe there. I was in an estrato 5 neighbourhood in the south and the paved roads were crumbling, with pot holes. Much like a scraper would remove the asphalt, but this was just from wear and tear. Centro Cali is a dump. The roads are horrible there too.

Cali chicks are a big thumbs up if you like big butts and boobs. Medellin has those types too, but it's more concentrated and common in Cali.

Thread bump- I've been in Cali for a few days now, I stayed in the south for a couple of days in a rented Airbnb apartment in barrio Ingenio, it was a fairly nice area but I decided to relocate north. The south seems to be too spread out for my tastes, I like to be in a concentrated area where everything I need is within walking distance, the south isn't like that, you would almost need a car down there, plus the nice places to hang down there are malls, which are quite nice, but I'm not much of a mall guy. I randomly met a deported guy who speaks English fluently and runs a tattoo shop down there, I will probably get some ink done as his rates are pretty good at 100K/hour, the name of the shop is "Gringo Swag" and he has a FB page if you're interested.

So anyway, I'm back up in the north, staying in Granada and so far its been decent. I had a couple of minor set backs, first was the hotel I checked into, I stayed here last year and they gave me decent rates and agreed to a monthly rate of 1.4 million, only to inform me two days later that they can't do that rate so it would be 2 million, fuck that, I'm leaving tomorrow and am looking for a new place today, hopefully I find something quick as I just want to settle in, I will be in Cali for the next 6+ weeks. Another kick in the ball sack was that the Spanish language school that I planned on attending (http://gogringolingo.com/) suddenly closed last week because they were robbed at night and the thieves stole a bunch of things, so the foreign owner decided to close it. Fortunately I found a private tutor through a hostel and will begin classes next week, I will also begin salsa classes sometime next week. I found a decent gym to work out at as well, so overall things are falling into place, I'm looking forward to the coming weeks in Cali and surrounding areas, I plan on checking out Lake Calima (wind surf spot), Buga and Popayan in the coming weeks.

If any of you RVF guys are coming to Cali, let me know and we can meet up, I will be here for the entire Feria de Cali as well, its a pretty good party.

Scotian, how are the asses in Cali? I watched a Vice video on Cali talking about how popular ass implants are in that city. Time to take some sneaky snapshots bud!

I would still recommend the south, anywhere close to the 3 main malls in that area. For a foreigner 60 to 70 percent of your internet dates will be from the south,

Choche, I'm trying to not rely on online game this time, its not a bad option but personally I want to force myself to be more social and outgoing, so I will focus more on day/night came, which I find can both be pretty good here. The south is indeed quite nice, but a bit to boring for my tastes and I would have to rely on taxis all of the time to get around there, not so in the north as I"m sure you know.

Man the fake arses are ubiquitous down here, I've been having a hard time focusing in the gym when these fake booty girls start working out in their tight neon pants, PM me your Whatsapp number and I'll send you some vids. I don't think that Cali is the Ass Capital that many people claim it is, I'm pretty sure that our resident booty expert Pitt confirmed that during his recent stay here, but it holds its own, the Calenas are pretty attractive women overall.

One thing that the OP didn't mention in this excellent and I haven't seen it written on here before is that the Valle de Cauca area has the best quality ganja in the country, I've been smoking quite a bit the past few days, I met up with some local stoners and they hooked me up with some very decent bud. So far, so good down here!

Hello Everyone!

First I want to say that it was fantastic meeting up with the NYC crew during International Meetup Day. I haven’t posted in a while but I figured it was time that I pry myself away from the new Starcraft 2 Expansion: Legacy of the Void for a few minutes to give everyone an update on my favorite place in the world: Cali, Colombia.

In case anyone missed it, here is my last report on Feria de Cali: thread-34998.html

At the end of 2015, I went back to Cali for the first time in 2 years, and also spent a few days in Medellin for the first time in 6 years.
It is with great enthusiasm that I tell my brothers in the Anglo world that if you haven’t gone to Colombia yet, NOW IS THE TIME! It’s better now than it has ever been for several reasons:

Currency Exchange Rate
This is the link to yahoo’s currency converter:
https://finance.yahoo.com/currency-conve...=EUR;amt=1
If you compare the U.S. Dollar or Euro to the Colombian Peso, click on the 5 day trend, then click 10 years or Max along the top of the graph, you will see a curve going steadily upward. Right now, from what I can see, the dollar is higher than it has ever been versus the Colombian Peso. The official rate today is 1 dollar to 3321 Pesos. After fees are deducted, your official exchange rate will be little lower but it’s still fantastic! Two years ago, it was 1 to 1800 – the value of the dollar has almost doubled! Everything is even cheaper than before if you’re spending dollars and Euros.

Less Women With Plastic Surgery
From what I’ve noticed, there is a trend of less plastic surgery in both Cali and Medellin and from what my friends explained to me, the trend of enormous fake boobs and butts was previously driven by the narcos and now it’s passing. In general, young girls 18-22 are far more likely to be 100% natural, or at least be limited to boob jobs compared to women slightly older. Butt jobs are far less common than they used to be which I think is great – many surgeries were absurd looking. After not having been to Medellin in 6 years, the change was much more apparent to me. Lovers of natural women rejoice!

Things Are NOT On the Decline (Yet)
More and more people in Colombia have smartphones but they have not been enslaved yet. I don’t know how long this will last but I suggest you visit right now because these are still the good old days – things may stay the same but they certainly can’t get better. While waiting at the airports, people still talk with and interact with their family members and friends instead of ignoring everyone around them while staring at their smartphone. The same applies for commuters on the train in Medellin, and Mio buses in Cali. At the airport charging stations, there’s a good chance you will not find a single person charging their electronic devices. You won’t see many phones out at clubs and parties either and girls are just as friendly as before. Outside of Bogota where I get the feeling some feminism might be taking hold from reading online articles, the patriarchal society centered around the family is still alive and well. There has been no noticeable increase in the percentage of the population being able to speak English. Girls are still pleasant, feminine, and are not overweight.

Cali Summary:
It’s cheap, the weather is great, the girls are wonderful, and the salsa is alive and well. Go. Now.

My next trip back to Colombia will be in a few months – I’ll definitely stop by Cali, but expect to spend more of my time exploring some of the lesser known cities in Colombia – Manizales, Pereira, Armenia, and Salento. Reports to follow!
