Tips on staying alert all day?

Key: State of surrender.

It's not even that much about motivation IMO as it is about total acceptance of the struggle ahead of you. Nonresistance. Fully accepting that "this is happening" and giving yourself no other choice. It's a weird mindfuck.

For example.. I can feel it the most when I stretch before/after my workout. I feel the pain from stretching and at first my body resists the pain and fights it and the stretch is done half ass but then I take control and I "surrender" to the moment and accept the pain and let it hurt and my stretching becomes a lot better. I feel the same pain but I befriend it and I'm OK with it. It's like detaching yourself from feelings or something like that. You lead your mind and then your body follows. I noticed that when I stop resisting it and I can just do shit ton of stuff being tired or exhausted. It sound wacky as fuck but I can't explain it better.

Also, 30 minute naps are golden. Fuck coffee. Setting up personal deadlines [possible to achieve but demanding] works wonders. A lot of water is a must.
