Girl Writes What?

Some of you guys are already familiar with the woman in the video and some of her views.

In this video she talks about being in the "friend zone", and how women actually hate the nice guy.

She's definitely masculine looking woman. In one video, she pretty much describes herself as such. She's a logical, masculine thinker.

If she had long hair, she'd be decent. I be she's got a pretty good figure. And you guys have to keep in mind that she's in her early 40's. For that age, she's pretty much a 7.

Her content aside, I don't get why she does all these videos instead of writing. She's not especially telegenic, and her speech can be astruse probably, so why not write? I can't stand how people make things into videos when simple text will do.

why is it that there is no place men left just for men without women showing up wanting to be part of it?

After reading her actual website I found out that she is a divorced mother of 3.For me that bit of info puts her views into perspective.I found it odd at first that a women would take the stance that she has but if she is indeed a mother it makes perfect since.I for one would want my kids to know the realities of the world we live in.My parents were of a different generation and were/ are blind to the fact of what it's like trying to deal with the opposite sex in this day and age.I think had my parents taking the red-pill at some point before I was born or during my youth that they would have "put me up on game" so to speak.

It's interesting that she's up on the lingo, like "emotional tampon" and "white knight." She was pretty much on point in her observations, and put typical cunt behavior of fake feminists on full display.

She's even used the term "rationalization hamster" before.

She talks about it in her first video (first one as far as i see).
Basically, she believes that voice for men needs not just texts but faces, and that having more female voices help the cause since women arguing for men's rights/liberation has more ethos going for it than men arguing for men (which appear like a defensive "unmanly" act to society and most people).

Does she bring forth any ideas or content that hasn't been said by a man in the manosphere?

I'm always skeptical when I see a female in the manosphere getting a lot of attention. Is it because of her ideas or simply because she's a woman and validates the manosphere men who happen to share her views?

Said this in another post: Nowadays, people are cowardly, and criticism of an 'oppressed' group could cost you your job. So to get around this, you'll only have a woman criticizing women, a black conservative criticizing affirmative action, et cetera. With men's rights specifically, plenty of these guys are scared of being considered misogynists, so when a woman makes their points for them, they feel safe from these charges. Yeah, they're cowards.

Esther Vilar and Camille Paglia had very original, impressive contributions.

Saw a 1975 interview with Esther Vilar conducted by german second wave feminist Alice Schwarzer. Vilar's Manipulated Man was published four years earlier and became very popular. Schwarzer lamented the difficulty in publishing her own books, accusing Vilar of pandering to men and their viewpoints.

Their attitudes affect their attractiveness a great deal. I could see myself hanging out with and banging Vilar. She was calm, reasonable and comfortable being a woman. Schwarzer tried to be a man by cutting off Vilar constantly. She didn't do it to get a point across, but to try to get her off balance (it didn't work).

I thought, "Ok, the established spokesperson for german feminism is feeling jealous toward an up and coming contrarian young woman." In the interview, Schwarzer looks to be mid 40s, while Vilar could be early to mid 30s. Older women hating on their younger counterparts is nothing new to me, so I checked their ages. Turns out Vilar has 7 years on Schwarzer. When the video was shot, Vilar was 40 and Schwarzer 33. [Image: nuts.gif]

You're spot on with the observations, however I think saying they are cowards is a bit harsh. I say that because like you said, you can lose your job and be completely ostracized from your community for saying the truth these days. That said, it takes a true alpha to just break the mold and say it and for that, he gets my respect.

I find her hot... and while her mind probably has a lot to do with it, I don't think that's exclusively the reason... and I don't think I'd like her better with long hair, is that odd?

I was on a site called Small Dead Animals that linked to a GWW video. That led to me finding and losing AVFM and discovering Rollo Roissy Roosh and the rest of the manospere.

She says her deal is she is worried about her three sons. If my mother only cared enough, but she wanted me to make her Haaaaapy.

She is definitely in the MRA camp but so what, she's an asset regardless. I see a role for PUA/Game. MGTOW, and the MRA's who seem to be fighting the misandrist legislation.

GirlWritesWhat is MRA, not manosphere.

GirlWritesWhat (aka Karen Straughan) has presented at MRA conferences before and will be at the upcoming one in Detroit . Here is some of her public speaking:

She hit the wall physically about 3 years ago and sadly in her writing too. She has produced great material but she only has a limited number of good ideas. I think she should put them into book form rather than rehashing them and spending too much time infighting with obscure bloggers and various factions like she does.

Dr Johnson rumbles with the RawGod. And lives to regret it.
