I stopped reading that blog a few years ago once I saw him regularly coming from this angry, conservative white male angle. I came there looking for game insights and had to constantly navigate around a bunch of reactionary tea party bullshit. But what really broke the camel's back for me were his commenters. He posted some article about this white woman that preferred black men and that entire site degraded into white nationalist feeding frenzy. At that point I knew blacks were no longer welcome there and quit reading.

If someone posts a link to an outstanding game article on his site, I'll read it, but I won't linger around there too long.

What's funny about all of this is that roissy is a Jew yet appealing to white nationalists. Talk about Stockholm Syndrome.

He still makes a long of great points regularly. The only problem I have with Roissy is he should travel more. Sometimes I think the DC cocoon, saps his creativity. A trip to the DR with Ali and friends would provide a lot of great new material for him.

I think I know what you are talking about. He got into an online war with some other lady blogger (can't remember who) and they both outed (no pun intended) each other. Shortly after that, "Roissy" went down and came back up as "Heartiste".

Oh, and the woman he got into it with seemed to be a Nazi sympathizer.

Roissy's blog's motto is 'where pretty lies perish.' He writes about mainstream beliefs that he deems demonstrably false. He also likes to provoke controversy, if only to see received wisdom being challenged. Heartiste, whoever he is, seems like the guy who enjoys telling racist jokes even though he's not really racist himself - half the fun is in pissing other people off by offending their sensibilities.

Oh, and one of the most brilliant manosphere authors, and an inspiration of Roissy's, is a white nationalist, by the name of F. Roger Devlin. He wrote some influential articles on the sexes, which as far as I know, don't even mention race.

Im not jewish but I did grow up in one of the largest jewish neighborhoods in the midwest. At the time I didnt realize it but the experience gave me a whole lotta insight into the culture. There were a fairly large amount of people that wanted to "assimilate" into American culture so they went to great lengths to hide their true heritage. These were upper middle class to straight up wealthy people.I guess because local business and politics is dominated by "good ol' boys" they had to do what they had to. It's funny to me because the very people they were trying to be like hated em behind closed doors.It's pretty common for jewish people to change their last name to something that doesnt scream jewish.

Not really but when the Jewish people immigrated here from abroad in the early 1900's a lot of them upon arrival choose to take on different last names.Of those last names a few were used alot so now when one here's certain names it's associated with jewish people. It's been my experience that if you follow the family tree of those that picked certain names you will find a connection to the jewish faith.

If Heartiste wrote as frequently and negatively about Jews as he does about blacks and Hispanics, would you be so quick to defend him?

Actually, this is the only reason everyone here condemns Duke, because he crossed the line from anti-black to anti-Jew. But in fact, if you read him nowadays he's no more hateful than Heartiste.

The fact is, I like reading Heartiste/Roissy, he's very entertaining and edifying. But the original poster is not being a troll - the blog has become at least as much about white nationalism as about red pill material. Period.
