$20k for some booty model pussy doesn't really fit the "wise decision" mold. James Harden is also known to spend thousands on strippers, and that's an even more ridiculous way to burn cash (you're not even getting a nut).

Even if we accept this premise (James Harden might still go unrecognized in many parts of this country), the fact is that he doesn't need to spend anywhere near $20k for some discrete pussy. Good, high quality escorts can be had for well under 10% of that cost.

Also, this chick isn't very discrete. If she was paid for her discretion, then she certainly isn't earning her keep. I can't think of any other half-way decent reason for her to receive $20k (or even $5k or $3k) to spread her legs.

All the evidence points to James Harden simply being a trick, a firm adherent to the "it ain't trickin if you got it" philosophy. It is his money and he can do what he wants with it, but that doesn't make this any less foolish. This is the type of guy most likely to go broke pretty soon after retirement (as more than half of NBA players do).

Doug Christie had always been a little different. He was drafted by the Seattle Sonics in '92, but never signed with them due to really difficult negotiations. They ended up trading him to the Lakers without him ever suiting up for them. That's pretty much unheard of - players always sign and play for the team that drafts them for at least a little while. Christie was #17 in the draft, so it's even more outlandish that they couldn't come to terms. Never developed into a star, so it's even more baffling that he would take such a hard stance in negotiations. Then add to that the issues with the wife, teams were definitely scared off of him. He could have probably played a couple more years, but he wasn't worth the trouble with the baggage he brought. I always cringe a little when wives get a little too involved in their man's business, and these guys allow it.

Some people like to gloritize how easy they expect pro athletes have getting women. I came in this thread and I didn't have a clue who James Harden was. What percentage of girls actually watch basketball regularily? Then factor in what percentage of girls are going to recognize him? Then consider how many are actually going to approach him because they recognize him? Amongst select groups of people he could have it easy and maybe in his specific basketball city, truthfully I have no idea what team he plays for nor do I care.
The whole international girls all drop there pants for me is more applicable to people who are known more universally. To add to what Timoteo said, I am pretty sure at least in the big US metropolitan cities he has more than a 2% recognition rate. Also, I can't remember who it was but Roosh or somebody else on this forum posted a link sometime ago about a PR guy (or some manager maybe) to an NBA player and him describing how easy athletes had it (in terms of women) whenever they went to clubs because they would create a commotion with their entourages.

James Harden is definitely not the smartest guy for paying her 20k but I can certainly see him cleaning up nice without paying for it if he tried.

I think the "athlete=pants drop everywhere they go" doesn't necessarily come from recognition but the fame game. It's a tough question because if I start spending money like that (although 10 bucks aint shyt for a working man) then I am pretty much getting into P4P and where is the game in that? After that thread, I decided to unScrooge myself and started to shell out a bit on lizards. Paying for their end on dates and so on so forth. Yea this maybe true, a fam member of mine saw Antawn Jamieson in Bamboo and said his game was mad corny, he was in the VIP grabbing at lizards. He said rappers TEND to have more game but ballers tend to be about their actual sport game so this of course doesn't translate to club or street game.

This is more along with the impression I have of what really goes on.

Would I doubt it if you told me Justin Timberlake could walk into a club and basically get a hot girl every night NO. James Harden though and 98 other percent of athletes are not walking magnets that can get laid with extreme ease.

I couldn't tell you who even plays on my home cities NBA team much less tell what they look like. If I see a guy whose 6'9 in the club I might go thnk to myself that dude should play hoops but nothing more. Some true celebrities actually appeal to girls. Football players where helmets in game covering there faces. Beyond guys who are the teams star player they could walk around and be near unrecognized by the female demographic. So your random O-line man whom is an athlete on a 3 million dollar a year salary will appear like nothing more than a giant man when girls look at him and quite likely he will be viewed as a giant overweight man far away from their ideal image.

20k for that girl is absolutely ridiculous. I don't even find her appealing. I can understand the appeal to some extremely curved girls like Coco for example is very appealing to me.
