Both are correct. It is called the schwa sound when you pronounce it like "uh" this is how most people pronounce it. You can pronounce it like a "ay" if you want it doesn't matter. It sounds strange to say "ay" though.

In Portugese it is an AHH sound but in English it isn't. You wouldn't say "I want AHH can of soda"
