Advise regarding colombia.

Ok so ive decided to spend 3 months in south america starting in september.

I wanna spend a a few weeks to a month in columbia depending on how much i enjoy it. Then travel to Buenos Aires and stay for atleast 2 months. I know a grl in college there so i should be set.

Anyways, my question is which columbian city would yall recommend for me to go and stay a few weeks to a month? Im leaning towards bogota and medellin. Which one has better nightlife and better looking females. How do the women differ in terms of looks? Also how safe are they (ive been to rio, so if you could compare it would help)

While im in Buenos Aires im going to have to take a weekend trip to Corboda from all the positive things said on this forum. What is the best way to get there from Buenos Aires and how long does it take?

Thanks!

For one month in colombia you have time to do both cities

in argentina the bus from ba to cordoba takes 10 hours

damn it is expensive to fly from columbia to buenos aires. 700 - 800 is cheapest for round trip. I was planning on taking a bus from bogota to buenos aires without really thinking about distance and it is way to far to do that. i can get a one way to medellin for like 350, then take a bus to bogota. then fly to buenos aires for 800 round trip. then on return to columbia fly back home to the states for like 400.

so all together on just airfare its looks like its gonna cost me atleast 1600 bucks (from looking at flight booking agencies online). Do these prices seem right and is there a way i can get cheaper tickets, like just buying them at the airport that day?

Flight from Bogota to Bs As is about 6hrs! So, imagine a bus- umm...7 days!

Yup - you're prices are correct. I flew from Bogota to Bs. As for 2 years - and I rarely saw below 1000USD.

Bogota:

Check out a recent report on Bogoat submitted recently for more updated info. But an area called "zona T" and "parque 93" is where most of your night game will occur.

Medellin:

If it's your first time in Medellin, then parque lleras is a must visit 1x - stick to this and an area called "la 33" but BYOG to la 33 - mostly mixed sets at the latter.

You will then head to smaller clubs in an area called "via las palmas". A few clubs here, with the most popular being Circus, and la casa house.

Finally, if you have time, thrown in a visit to "zona industrial colombia" - lots of clubs here with no tourists.

I looked into this extensively, and decided flying from BA to Cordoba was the best. Return flights at normal rates are about US$250 return - better during sales. 1 hour each way.

That gives you 18 extra hours to meet chicks in Cordoba.

BTW - High speed rail link between BA and Cordoba is coming soon. Been following this project for a while. Wikipedia says the project is on hold, but word on the street is that things are going to get going soon on this.

Whatever - I'd still fly...

In medellin, go to a club called Dejavu for this. It strictly plays hip hop and reagaton. However, all girls in groups of 3+ and very common that guys are with them. So, you'll be gaming mixed sets to zero in on your target.

This reminds me of something if you're flying into Argentina. You only pay the $150 entrance fee if you land in BsAs (not Cordoba). I landed in BsAs and had to pay the fee, Partytime landed in Cordoba and did not.

For the cheapest fares between BsAs and Cordoba, go to LAN's website and click for the Argentina page. They charge you more if you click the USA flag. We paid about $75US RT.

Good to know that Argentina's infrastructure is better than the usa.
