Anyone Else Here Freelance Online?

This is how I've been earning my income for about two years now, and while I love it, I have to say there's a definite downside:

It's just waaaaaaaaaay too easy to goof off browsing the internet when you're supposed to be working on a project.

Anybody else have this problem? Any solutions to recommend?

What I'd almost want is some kind of comprehensive site-blocking program for my work computer that makes it so you can never, ever access a site again once it's blocked.

I've used these with success:

For firefox:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox...eechblock/

Or Chrome:

Or something like a free internet filter could help

How do you get into freelancing? What's required? I've been looking for a different thread of income now for a while now.

Second the internet blocking add-ons. They work great.

I freelance too, and yes, this can be a huge challenge - probably the biggest challenge about working online. For staying focused, look up "Wake Up Productive" by Eben Pagan.

Here I go into a little detail about part of it: http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-17066-...#pid292673

Pay particular attention to the bit about "focused work blocks."

"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe.
To be your own man is a hard business. If you try it, you'll be lonely often, and sometimes
frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." - Kipling
