All Montreal, All the time!! Montreal Only.....

Ok- That's it!! I just bought my ticket to Montreal for the entire month of June. I am leaving behind an extra month of Colombia for this Canadian sex-venture.

I have heard over, and over, and over from dozens of guys I trust that Montreal is a must!!! Time to bust this myth!

I cannot take it anymore! I must see for myself! I must find out if I what I experienced in Ottawa/Toronto with the Taebo-Instructor super-babe is a normal night out or pure beginner's luck!! I have to know - Montreal!!!

Please, BOMBARD ME with all the Montreal info you got on this thread!

Armanid27;

You've made a good decision on Montreal over Toronto or Ottawa. You've done your research well. Chicks are ridiculously hot.

The one thing you need to understand is that the hot spots in the city change very rapidly. Hot Restaurants, Clubs, Bars, Lounges etc. change more rapidly than most places I know, so any information you get on specific places, if it's not within the past year it means shit.

So although I was born in Montreal, grew up there, and partied there monthly through my University years, I can't give you hard locations.

Walk up and down St. Laurent in the day, walk into every store and bar, and the people will give you the info you need, to rock the city all night.

FYI dude - your advice on Miami from the "South American Girls Closer to Home" thread has me in the process of booking tix for WMC in 2 weeks. Much respect for the block-by-block layout by ethnicity - I plan to target that Argentinian block in the days and see wtf happens. Last night miraculously met both a Brazilian and a Colombiana in Toronto, so I'm no closer on the research on the appetite for Hispanic guys in this city - hahaha...

What makes Montreal chicks hotter than other parts of Canada? Thats French Canada, right? So do the girls have more French genetics?

Weapons,

"in the process of booking tix for WMC in 2 weeks"

Just so you know, WMC is in my opinion the worst time to be in Miami Beach.

But if you really want to go for the event and music it could be worth it.

Here are some of my obs and experience:

- I have found MTL girls are generally attracted to European guys and Lebanese guys. Dress well. Montreal is a very fashionable place. They love the european soccer player look.

- the hottest girls will be at St.Laurent clubs. And they will be at the house electro clubs. It will require typical club game.

- Crecent is very lively but touristy. A lot of people partying from out of town at these places. This also a great place to meet cougars. Easy lays but not the best quality.

- you are going in June, you ll be there for F1 wkd. This is the busiest wkd in MTL. A lot of gorgeous europeans flock over for the race (its where I met my Hungarian model ex gf...solid 9)...you should run into plenty of russians and croatians. Prime place to find them is on Crescent Steet the night they close it off and show off the cars. It gets very crowded, and you should be able to target many girls. This year should be more exciting, because the race is coming back after a year absence. There will be tons of parties all over the city, so plenty of action to be had.

- good places for day game include Mont Royal hill (during the wkd days, a lot of people gather together on the side of the hill to enjoy the day) (at night alot of easy HS pussy girls looking for anything or anyone exciting to do), Old Montreal (great place to game because the old port is beautiful and girls wish they had a guy to enjoy the scene with), and St.Denis.

- russian prostitutes and career golddiggers tend to be downtown - near Peel. Places like Cavalli, or at the bar at the W hotel, or on Crescent in general

- speaking of russians...a lot of russians live in MTL, so try to find a russian party to go to. A lot of high quality girls to be had.

- Montreal has a well known sex scene. The strip clubs have a good rep and the porn industry is very active. I think its reflective of Montreal s liberalism and open mindedness. What does it mean for you....it means you should push the boundaries a bit and try to score threesomes if you can...in my opinion more girls in MTL will accept such an invitation than in any other place in NA, so dont be gun shy.

These are just some of the obs that I ve had. I ll post more as I think of other useful info.

Great info, keep them coming (so to speak). How about some hotel tips?

How is http://www.germainmontreal.com//fr/index.asp location wise?

I stayed at the one in Toronto and it was pretty top tier.

Restaurant tips also.

armanid27, I plan on being in Montreal in June as well.

For hotels, while I highly recommend Le Germaine in TO, I prefer the boutique hotels in Old Montreal....it s a beautiful area and it doesnt feel like you re in NA.

Many nice hotels can be found in old montreal. Great suits, breakfast and amenities. One in particular I recommend is W Hotel. Beautiful rooms!

Excellent advice Weapons and LuckyStar!! I am planning my game agenda now, and will definitely hit every spot you mentioned, at the times you recommend.

I actually closed on a cougar last night - what I love about cougars is sometimes you get a real gem who is very nurturing....bangs you all night, and is more than happy to cook a mean egg-white omelet with home fries and a fresh cup pf coffee to send you on your way the next morning...man I feel like a million euros today!!

@gmanifesto: If you are going to be there in June, I am definitely bringing my best Armani custom suits to have the privilege of swooping a few nights with you.

I still have not booked my hotel guys, but am considering the drake hotel based on recommendations. I love trendy, very modern and extremely hip places.

Armani....i think you might be thinking of the drake hotel in TO....I don't know of one in MTL...

If you like modern....than le W hotel in MTL is good...but I do recommend staying in the Old Port...it will enhance your trip, and there is a lot better gaming opportunities there than being right in the hub of downtown where W hotel is.

The W hotel is another viable option. It`s on the edge of the Old Port.

Agreed. Le Germain is about a block from my house and although its right "downtown" its not the most ideal location. Staying the old port would be the best option I feel as well, or anywhere further south. There is one with a great terrace roof bar down there but I forget what it is called. Brought a girl there once, great place to start, or finish the night.

Everything Luckystarr said is true but in my experience gaming in the old port has had mixed results. There are tons of couples and families, but maybe I just went on bad days.

Also, you might want to check out Plateau / Mile End, they are neighborhoods that have the feel of the lower east side / the village in Manhattan.

But basically the breakdown of the three major partying / bar districts are:
1) St. Laurent - both hipster and music (dive) bars, with good atmosphere, and the house / electronic clubs. St Laurent is probably Canada's most famous streets. Although not much to look it, it is where the French part of Montreal, and Canada, truly begins, and is a great mix of the two. Although it is slowly beginning to look a lot like crescent. As for game, dress well, really well, play it cool and fun in the bars and typical club game in the clubs.

2) Crescent - This feels like sort of a retail drinking area, although it is aesthetically pleasing inside the pubs, bars, and clubs, it is devoid of any real culture. A lot of yahoos here from the states come up and congregate here to piss on Canada as if it were Tijuana. Crescent is a real pussy goldmine though, lots of groups and people on vacation looking to have fun. The bars here are the sort of superpubs montreal is now known for, Hurleys, Churchills, etc. There are a few smaller style clubs on Crescent, but this really isnt my scene and I usually end up at these places if I am hammered. Skip over to Rue de la Montange for a few more higher end clubs.

3) St. Denis - Montreals francophone (french speaking) drinking district and cultural centre. Here is a wide mix like St. Laurent. You have street kid anarchists, middle aged francophones, young and old, etc. The common denominator is that this place is French, but don't let that discourage you. Spend a night here, check out the eats and the drinks. The bars here are big, and have a great atmosphere.

4) Old Port: There are two types of old port, the touristy part and type, and the very high end. This is the most expensive part of the city, aside from some burbs, and there a few high end clubs and lounges. Those that I have been to have been some of the best, but this is where Montreal's money lives, older single women and men with too much money.

Also, there are a few after hours clubs that cater mostly to the drug and what is left of the rave scene. The best of the lot is Circus which borders the Village.

All Montreal, All the time!! Montreal Only.....

Hey guys -I was looking at this hotel, and its kind of my style.

According to the website, their location is: "Strategically located in downtown Montreal on the corner of Sherbrooke Street and St.-Laurent Boulevard, Opus Hotel Montreal is perfectly situated between the worlds of business and leisure. Opus Hotel Montreal is located steps from the vibrant restaurants and bars of Boulevard St. Laurent and minutes from both Old Montreal and the "Plateau" Mont-Royal."

http://www.opushotel.com/montreal/english/index.html

My 2nd option is the W Montreal, and I get points - so this is a strong option.

http://www.starwoodhotels.com/whotels/pr...rtyID=1471

Any comments/feedback on whether it would be a good choice fro June F1 events? They seem to promote the F1 event pretty heavy.

Opus hotel is the bomb. I used to book my out of town clients in the Opus Vancouver: nothing but rave reviews. The fact that it's on St-laurent makes it the winner in my book.

As for your 2nd option, in theory it's more central/downtown and the subway is _slightly_ more nearby. Because you may end up needing the metro to go to F1 on ste-helene island.

Be sure to grab some montreal bagels on St-Laurent/Aviateur street. And montreal smoke meat at shwart's up on St-laurent.

Sssssshhhweeet! That's 1 vote for Opus..

Anybody else have something to add? The first hotel that gets 3 votes is the winner! =)

The Opus in MTL is ok....I would rather stay at the W hotel though....it s nicer, holds more status, and sits right on the edge of the Old Port.

I stayed at the Opus and it s good because its very close to the clubs, but if you want a better feel for the city get near the Old Port.

What is the best hotel in Montreal, money no object, taking in consideration location for swooping?

Ie, where would you stay if you were going to hit Montreal full force and leave little to chance?

In MTL, that would be the W hotel. Many people rave about Hotel St James as well.

Another place that's very swanky is Sofitel. I stayed there during F1 week. It was a beautful hotel....sexy staff too.

I looked at the St. James, a little too conservative for my taste - I like very modern, and trendy. Sounds like the W it is then - I get to use points too! :-)

If you want to pop your MTL cherry, F1 weekend is something you have to experience the first time. Crazy, but in a good way. A really good way. I'm going to be there, and I'll be with a handful of local girls there I know, and they know exactly how to hit that city up properly. If you want to meet up and have a good time, feel free to drop me a line. Also, stay away from alleys in Mount Royal around 3 or 4 in the morning. The Haitians around there, well... That's a story for another time.

Done. I'm there man!!

I think W hotel is the winner, because I have Diamond Status and can upgrade to a kickass suite if I book now.

Oh don't worry - I know how to deal with Haitians. I live in Miami, and come across them all the time as they live in "little Haiti"

Dope. The W is in a decent location. I'll be staying with the ladies who live on Stanley right in the middle of the madness. Perfect location. Old Montreal is a must to check out at least one night, good place to start (grab some good food, pre drink, hit the rooftop bars, swoop) then get back to the area around Crescent street to go all out. Will definitely be able to show you around if you like.

Location is perfect. Maybe 3 blocks away from where I stay. You'll be happy with that spot for sure. Lots of good places to eat around there too. I would recommend the MBCo bistro for lunch or late breakfast. I love the food there.
