Steve Mcqueen King of Cool

Lately I have been watching alot of his movies, last night I stayed up to watch Bullitt and really enjoyed it.
His style is killer, Persol glasses, Heuer watches(before Tag) and well cut clothes.
The way he interacts with women is cool, doesn't say alot or smile alot like an idiot. Somehow i get the feeling he was like that in real life.
He would make alot of "stars" look stupid today.

Shouldn't come as a surprise he was a big cigarette smoker as well.

Picture is from the movie Thomas Crown affair, I bought this movie a couple of years ago. The suit and lilac tie I would wear today, this movie was filmed in the early 70's.

BTW the 70's TC Affair is quite different than the modern remake with Renee Russo. I don't want to spoil, but the endings are completely opposite. 70's TC = alpha ending, modern = beta ending.

Hence my username. You can learn ALOT about game/style/etc from watching his films.

Haven't been on here in a while, just returned back to La from Vegas where I tried some game theory for 4 months. Will post an extensive post soon covering Gaming in that city and I'm not talking about poker.

Thomas Crown affair reminds me of The Verdict with Paul Newman. Now that, that movie has a alpha finish. I can't ruin it but I literally yelled "in your face!" at the screen. I think its on netflix?

It shouldn't need to be pointed out, but for those that just don't seem to understand:

70's Thomas Crown Affair - smoker - Alpha

90s Thomas Crown Affair - non smoker - Beta

Steve McQueen is awesome and one of my favorite classical actors. I quoted him in my book in the Alpha tips chapter.

" I live for myself and answer to no one"

Since there are only two quotes in the book that shows how much I value this one. The other one is from Yoda "Do or do not, there is no try"

I have only seen him in "The Towering Inferno" and I thought him and the film was really good. I need to see more of his pictures. I looked him up and saw that he died at age 50. It's sad because he died so young but boy did he leave behind a legacy. I wouldn't mind dying young if I left some type of legacy behind.

The "Tao of Steve" is a great film; especially concerning game. I believe this is a recommended film in the thread on here about red pill movies.

My favorite McQueen movie was always Nevada Smith.

He has 'timeless style', no matter how many years it has been, you can still look good if you're dressed like him

Paul Newman is another favourite of mine, he's cut from the same cloth as Steve.
