The Ultimate Playboy?

The Ultimate Playboy?

The more I think about, I'm convinced that this man has to be one of the ultimate playboys that ever lived

David Bailey. Considered one of the world's best photographers and known as the "discoverer, lover, and photographer" of the most beautiful girls in the world.

Traveled the world and fucked the hottest of the hottest that the world had to offer. Married 4 models. Embodies the alpha, "doesn't give a shit" persona yet still loved by his women AFTER he breaks up with them (or divorces them)...and is still at the top of his profession at the age of 74.

Quote:Quote:

Even early on, Bailey saw himself as an outsider. An impervious, mouthy boy, he often got beaten by the teachers at school. He dropped out at 15, and started a series of dead-end jobs.

Quote:Quote:

What about those other 350 women that he claimed to have slept with? "Oh no, some fucking journalist made that up. It was at least double that," he says with his trademark wheezy laugh. He may have lived up to the Sixties mantra: "David Bailey makes love daily," but, he says, "I never did anything sinister. I was perceived as bad because I was having a good time. It was a two-way thing. The girls were getting pleasure. I wasn't raping them."

Quote:Quote:

"The thing about relationships," he muses, "is that they don't end because you don't like them any more. It's not about discarding one person in favour of another. Emotions are fluid and life moves on. Like anything else, relationships bloom, wither and die. Nobody leaves anyone. You sort of leave each other, don't you? I never had any trouble because I never cared about money and possessions. When you start arguing, the lawyers get all the money. It cost me a few Warhols over the years, but I have no regrets."

Quote:Quote:

I hate men who are in touch with their feminine side. They’re a bunch of fucking wimps. And women don’t really like them either.

Quote:Quote:

Men make the mistake of being too serious with women. Some men go out with a woman three times and think they own them. I just hoped they liked me enough to stick around.

His former wives, girlfriends, and mistresses include world-famous actresses, original Playboy bunnies, top fashion models, teenage beauties men drooled over, heiresses to the richest families in the world, but most of all, just plain hotties:

There's a documentary out about his life out as well.

I think any guy on here would be well-advised to watch it and see how this man handled business throughout his career. And more importantly, how fucking WISE the guy sounds about women, relationships, and enjoying what life has to offer.

It's not about the bang at all costs and discarding women like disposable diapers (although of course, he banged his way through hundreds of the most desired women in the world!)

It's about being yourself, pursuing your passion, living in the moment and doing things your own positive way.

One of the great international playboys who's still alive as far as I'm concerned. And get this, doesn't drink alcohol, is a vegetarian, and doesn't believe in exercise. Hah!

You must have never heard of Porfirio Rubirosa. Or a number of others.

Maybe its not that hard to have players become accepted if people think about it.

Nope.

BBC 4 had a great mini-drama about Bailey and his time in NYC with the model Jean Shrimpton on tv recently, 'We'll Take Manhatten'. It was a great watch. Try to find it on BBC I-player or YouTube. The guy was an uncompromising cunt but I suppose that's what made him so attractive to women.
