Question for Bloggers

Do you ever feel like you're running out of things to write about? I'd imagine there's a limited amount of things you could say about your niche.

Question for Bloggers

If the blog is on a specific topic, you will be hurting for topics after a certain amount of time depending on your knowledge/experience of the subject. Most blogs have a finite lifespan.

I'm not a blogger for the record, but I think it depends on the person. You could apply that same question to many things, like TV or radio talk shows. Why has Oprah been on the air for like 20 years and hasn't run out of topics? Or why is Rush Limbaugh been on for an eternity and he hasn't run out of stuff to talk about and still has millions of listeners? Shit, I remember hearing people complaining about him when I was in junior high. I'm now 33 and he's still yapping his head off with no end in sight.

I think if your blog discusses current events but maybe from a certain angle, then life itself will supply you with an endless stream of stuff to comment about. Then at that point it's just about being a good enough writer to make it entertaining and interesting for people to read. I think you also have to be able to evolve and bring in fresh perspectives. But if your blog is narrowly focused, I can see possibly running out of things to say.

Hell no.

I have notes for like 80 future posts. Sh*t that is beyond futuristic.

Time and editing are the killer.

Question for Bloggers

it's less a question of running out of material than it is about adapting to deliver fresh material. so for instance, if you write about pickup but have been in an LTR for a while, you'd want to substitute writing about LTR game for pickup game.
