What are your main reasons for returning clothes?

I'm curious as to your main reasons for returning clothing after you've purchased it.

Not sure the point of this or why I voted.

"...it's the quiet cool...it's for someone who's been through the struggle and come out on the other side smelling like money and pussy."

"put her in the taxi, put her number in the trash can"

Fit definitely. Hate clothes that don't fit.

Got a question for ya, Tstyle. Where can I get a good gingham buttondown that isn't custom made? Need one by next week and ModernTailor and such would take too long. Any ideas?

I'm 5 foot 9.5, 185lbs. Athletic, but not a 6 pack. Fairly big shoulders.

I return clothes all the time. Why? Because the only reason I bought them was because I was flirting with the retail girls. Sometimes, I try on outfits and then game the other customers.

I will try on some expensive shit and then say to a cute customer..

"does this look good on me"
"what do you think of this"
"can i get your opinion on this"

Sometimes my target is the retail girl working, sometimes its another costumer. Either way, I usually return the stuff a few days later.

A lot of my clients with similar builds, (broad shoulders etc,) have had luck with J Crew's regular fit. You'll have to have the sleeves and stomach brought in to flatter all the way around, but those will fit well in the chest and shoulders. It's also worth trying out their slim fit to see if you fit those in the chest and shoulders too. That way you don't need to pay a tailor.

Usually because it turned out to be the wrong size. I hate shopping. It's really hard to find something that truly improves my look and in a size that really fits me.

Still not sure why you would buy the item, sounds as if you're seeking validation. Maybe I'm wrong.
