Frampton claims he fell into a "honey trap," and had been visiting the country to meet up with a bikini model he met online.

Pretty funny story. It's amusing how some of the most brilliant minds make up for it in their utter lack of common sense and shortcomings in other aspects of their lives.

That's pretty sad, he's clearly a brilliant scientist - hopefully they let him walk. Good on the University for not firing him, I hope he gets his raise.

But the most important lesson is: this would not have happened if he'd had game.

Fun fact: I have been inside the Argentine prision where he is being held. The prision is located in a section of Buenos Aires known as Villa Devoto. When I was in law school, we went on a tour of the prision. I have no idea who came up with the idea for the tour or what the purpose was. The guys in the cells had knifes to cut steak and other types of food. Swear to god. If I ever go back there again, I will be sure to tell this professor about the forum in order to greatly minimize the chances that he is stupid enough to fall for a scheme like this in the future.
