It's boot season

Those boots are sick Travesty, I might grab a pair. I think they could be pulled off with dark blue jeans. Maybe a dark colored shirt, darker blue jeans, and the color of the boots will add a nice kick. . . I think some of my best outfits are where not everything matches perfectly. Makes people take a second look.

Picked up a pair of these:

They're head turners:

Waitress: Wow, I saw those in the store, but didn't think any guys around here would have the balls to wear them.

Me: Guess that says something about my balls.

This still isn't what I'm looking for, but have conceded that the only way to get what I want is to go full custom.

M.L. Leddys is fucking legendary. You can't walk out of the store without dropping a minimum of $1100 and a staggering 1 yr, 4 month wait. Well, you probably could, but they'd shoot you. There's 4 things you don't fuck with in Texas:

A man's boots
A man's whiskey
A man's wife
A man's horse (or motorcycle)

As I'm not looking for the traditional western style, it is going to take a couple months of planning and design. I want to incorporate that element along with a touch of Mark Nason styling. Not in any hurry as these Leddy's boots will last 5 years with regular wear. That's a long time to wear turds on my feet if I fuck up the design.

Contrary to popular forum beliefs, Ali-B isn't the contemporary art time. I've never been one to hangout in a museum and stare at pictures. I do however, like functional art, and these boots are just that. See, at some point in a man's life, he decides to commission them. The stitching and design already tell a story, and through the years of wear, continue to tell the tale. Then one day, when the grandkids come over, they ask him to pull out those old boots and orate what those old clodhoppers have seen. Unless he died with them on, which is quiet a possibility in Texas.
