2 days later wednesday night
her: Hey sly how are you?
Me: hey im good just got done at gym. you?
her:im at work.. almost out.. hey so for tomorrow im going to be busy all day but we could meet at night if thats ok with you

Her (7:40 Pm): hey i dont think were going to able to hang out tonight

what to do?
so i think my texts were cool. unfortunately she flaked last minute. i don't care too much. however, i would like to see her again. really cute girl who is actually my type. like i said before we were really into each other.

I think she wants me to push her more.
I'm willing to push harder. However that is not usually my game. I don't usually have to push too hard cuz i don't usually deal with chicks with boyfriends.

any advice on where to go from here?

i was reading the text threads. i like the idea mechanico had of sending her a coffee in the morning (via text) just to see what kind of response i get.

Also, i can throw a little party at my place and tell my cousin to invite her..

After looking on Facebook, I noticed my cousin and her friends checked into the lounge last night. I'm guessing this is why she flaked.

And be ready to deal with the consequences.

The girl might turn on you to save her reputation, the guy might come after you with his buddies, you might become known as a major scumbag, etc...

The risks of fucking a "taken" girl are majorly amplified when operating in a smaller environment, because everyone knows everyone else, and reputations (and in the case of the cuckolded guy, pride) are much more important than in large cities.

She was initiating texts with you, so obviously she wants to stay in contact for the purpose of fucking again.

A lot of girls are like monkeys on tree branches-they dont want to let go of the last branch (boyfriend) until they have grabbed onto the next one.

It's possible she wants to make you her next boyfriend, it's also possible that like many girls she just wants some dick on the side from time to time.

Either way she cant be seen with you in public in a small town.

Don't text her too often but don't ignore her either. Maybe 1 or 2 short text convos a week with keep you in her mind. Don't suggest a meetup up every time either- you don't want to seem like you're chasing her. I would wait a couple of weeks and ask her if she wants to come to your place for drinks and a movie one night.

Sounds like I'm in the minority, but I'd still say to hit her up if I were you and try to get her right to your place. She's going to be flakier than your normal girl (who already is super flaky) because she has a bf. Doesn't say anything about her interest level. And she gave you a little warning and let you know. Sure, would have been better if she proposed another time, but more and more I'm noticing that girls just aren't good at this shit and not to take her not proposing something else as a bad thing, necessarily.

Also, I've been experimenting with DLVing myself to girls like this once it becomes clear they want you to be a bf. It's surprisingly effective at getting them right back where you want them. Doesn't sound like you're there yet, but it's worth keeping in mind that we're not always best off DHVing and making them chase us.
