Girl: "What to wear"

Girl: "What to wear"

I seem to often get asked via text "So can I dress casual" or "What should I wear". Even if the venue already suggests it to them.

I have before gone with "Look good" and had a flake..

I guess it takes context and my previous flake may have been for other reasons, but say on a first date...

You want them to look good, but you don't know what casual means to each girl. Sometimes casual is heels and a dress, sometimes its a sweatshirt and jeans..

Keep it light "sure but something nice" or go direct "wear heels"?

Any good responses to this?

tell her what you're going to wear, or give her more info about the event. personally I don't care how a girl dresses as long as she looks attractive.

Tried the heels line on another girl and she flaked... All girls are different though.

if she flakes because you say "wear heels", she was probably going to flake anyway.

I usually tell the girl to wear heels, even if she doesn't ask. it creates an interesting dynamic. sometimes the girl does it, sometimes she doesn't, but it gives you something to talk/argue about on the date.

Some venues are not made for heels or the way around, not sure... I ask what to wear when the guy ask me out and don't tell where are we going.
Then I just say: Is it a casual place or posh place? and I wear what I think it is proper anyway.

Nice tip. Will give it a shot.. Been trying different stuff, and i don't really think it matters. Just keep it light is all i would recommend to not scare these girls off for the first few dates.

Just makes me wonder, are girls that dumb? Anyone with common sense would google the venue and see what type of joint it is.. Or they're just plain lazy... Who knows who cares..

I've had girls ask me this and I'll just say something like "your Sunday's best". Sometimes when they wear heels they just bitch about them the whole time, but they really should be sporting short skirt and heels, especially if you're footing the bill.
