10,000 Hour Practice Rule

0,000 Hour Practice Rule
My friend told me to google this rule and it's actually a rule that comes up in the book Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. It talks about how many hours of dedicated practice is needed to master a skill. Here's a chart I found after I googled "10,000 hour practice rule."

10,000 Hours Of Practice

One point that I found interesting was how long The Beatles and Bill Gates took to master a skill. The Beatles took 8 years. Bill Gates took 7 years. I think I read on Roosh's blog that Bang was the accumulation of 6 years of experimenting with Game and honing techniques.

If you notice that bottom of the chart, it actually breaks down 7 Steps to Cheat the 10,000 Hour Rule.

Those things are:

1. Get a coach.
2. Surround yourself with like minded individuals.
3. Build expert habits.
4. Don't waste time on the small stuff.
5. Deliberately practice.
6. Teach others.
7. Find someone to kick your butt if you fall off track.

What I wanted to do by starting this thread is to see if everyone has these 7 things aligned. I believe this could help us pinpoint where we could use improvement, what things we are doing correctly that is leading us on the right path, and finally encouraging each other to move forward when we're falling off track.
