"I'm not that kind of girl"
09-15-2012, 12:09 AM
I'm chit-chatting with a girl at the post office. A man in a business suit walks in, apparently it's someone she recognizes. She mentions there's an embarrassing video about him and asks me if I've seen it. I reply no, so she says nevermind then. I then comment with something on the lines of, "I can imagine him being the kind of guy who keeps a lot of porn on his computer at work." To which she replies, "Ew, I'm not that kind of girl."
I was thinking, well I never mentioned nor implied you were that type of girl, but maybe you are since you're denying it.
I just ignored the comment and kept moving with the conversation.
How would you guys proceed?

You should've smirked and asked"do you often make everything about"? Then take it from there.

I think you did the right thing by ignoring it and going on.
In a more sexual, private setting I think I would have grinned and said, "you are the kind of girl when you're with me."

In one ear and out the other brother. Wait, that's my advice for 95% of bullshit that comes out of a girl's mouth.
