Thank you to Gio and MikeCF

These guys deserve a shout out from me. Notably I learned a valuable lesson from each and actually putting them both together i learned yet another lesson as well.

1. Game Advice. For whatever reason, Gio's game comments have exponentially changed my lays and quality. I have shared a few messages and hilarious examples with both mike and Gio and some of it is so off the wall if i posted it on here I would likely get banned. But more importantly, Gio's style of game somehow clicked with me and has increased my quality by a point and has decreased my alcohol consumption by 70% weekly.

2. Health and Fitness. I thought I was an in shape mother fucker who didnt need any help. Fuck me. After talking to Mike my body is taking another leap to the next level. No longer need caffiene even during some 18 hour work days I pull. Squatting stupid numbers, over 4x my own body weight now. The next level gains are practically 100% due to Mike. I'll throw an updated body post up once i feel I've "maxed out again". The post sex comments I get are straight retarded now.

3. Game is watery. Combining advice from both Mike and Gio on "game". For whatever reason Mike's lines weren't working as well, but i gave them to my go to wing-man and it works incredibly well. The stuff Gio does works very well for me, same wing-man has low success rates with it. Ergo, game will always be debated. This is why i've adjusted to have my own kinda niche game and actually it has helped me improve advice. Based on the personality type, look, style, lifestyle etc etc your game should be adjusted like a well oiled car. Ex: Athletic guy with money has different game than college guy whose also in shape also differs from 45+ year old with/without money etc.

Personal Growth. With all this said I've realized I would happily help both of these cats with anything, the funny thing is of course, that they will unlikely ever need it. Both of their contacts have been added to my priority list of messages to respond to if a request is sent to me.

Also drove in a huge point, if someone is not adding value to your life cut them off, fast. If they are? Then... Help people.

With that said, off to go and play with the latest acquired toy and of course look for more to add to the play bin.

Are you for real, how much do you weigh and how much do you squat? 4 times your own body weight seems fucking crazy to me, I'm 5 ft 10.5 in 190 lbs and currently I'm squatting 225 lbs 5 X 5, not sure what my max is, but if I were to squat 4x my own body weight, that would be 760 lbs, I'm pretty sure that's what olympic power lifters are squatting.

I'll update a workout routine post I put on here in a few months once i peak again. But i'm the same height but have a weird fucking body. After 16+ years of serious training, with Mike's health advice i'm reliving newbie gains (no creatine anymore, no roids)

On a machine squat I just cleared 4.75x my body weight (8 reps 4 sets), and did a 3.5x weight 5 reps regular squat 1 month ago with a personal trainer. 4x won't be a problem now and he says i can get up to 5x with my "genetics"

I had been lifting wrong for ages, and i've seen some hard core specialists the last 2 months and genetically i'm a freak according to them. Apparently if you squat T levels go up? Not sure if you ever cycled creatine but with mike's health advice and hard squats its getting scary stupid because i wake up and feel like i have taken 25grams of creatine. Can't give details on who i hired but basically i'm getting a lot of weird tests done and supposidly i should be able to get up to 5x my weight all natural.

Anyway to avoid derailment on the health stuff, if you're against roids (Eventhough mike doesnt hate on them), stop fucking around and please take his advice.

WestCoast is probably not doing the same type of squats you are since you are following a 5x5. Squatting 4x someones bodyweight below parallel would put him in the top 12 all time for a competition squat. That's the type of squat used for building strength and power, because it hits your entire posterior chain. http://www.powerliftingwatch.com/files/P...-13-12.pdf

If you squat above parallel, which body builders will sometimes do to work on the physique of their quads, you can lift substantially more weight. It's kind of like doing curls to work on your biceps, as opposed to chinups. Targeting that one muscle specifically, as opposed to the entire chain.

It's great to hear you're doing well.

I'm not big on routines or lines for the reasons you wrote. My lines didn't work for you but they did work for your boy. So are my lines good or bad? It all depends.

That's why I view primary game as building the best version of yourself.

If you are healthy, in shape, have some money, have a portable career, and avoid the pitfalls of life (dead-end job, wife, getting caught up in drama)...then you're not going to have much trouble with women.

Build yourself up first.

Then start spitting lines and find out what style suits you best.

Agree mike, I almost laughed out loud today because I got off the shoulder press machine, up 15% and then used some Gio style game and the girl blushed up in 5 seconds. Was anoter one of those aha moments.

@ rio, yes doubt we are doing the same stuff I do many many different types of squats and don't want to give out too much info. Basically mikes help gave me 15% gains. So it seems. My trainer would be a dead giveaway 4 my identity so no thanks there!

Once you developed and tasted the power of sober confidence, your game went through the roof, your self-belief was solidified!

It only took you a few approaches to realize it. You witnessed me approach a few girls directly and then you tried it and then BAM! You saw what is possible. 19 year old "9"s!!! Belief in yourself is everything. Now, you have it.

No alcohol was needed. Save the booze for when you take her dancing and are getting her primed to fuck!

Your quality went up because your self-belief went up. Your drinking went down because you no longer have a need to drink as much. You don't need "liquid courage", you have real courage!

I try to teach "irrational self confidence". A belief in yourself that people can feel. Women love it. How many guys are really approaching them during the day with strong masculine energy? The answer is not very many. Most guys are too afraid to do it. I like to attack fear and conquer it.

If anyone wants to day game with me, let me know.

I completely understand you.

I remember how years ago i would be scaried to approach a woman if i didnt drink alcohol and nowadays i dont even think about it, i just do it.

I also believe that approaching is like anything else, if you dont do it on consistent basis or stop it for a while, you will be less motivated to approach, in other words your fear will increase. If i dont approach for one day, i notice a slightly diffference and soon as i notice that im getting scaried to approach then i approach in order to kill that fear..i hate having any kind of fear..i would rather get told no then live with the what if..im not giving space to the what if in my life.

By the way, i always think about your post in relation to fear, it was a classic post..do you remember what thread it was on? i want to share it with some of my friends.

Regarding specific health advice to get to be next level. Was pretty much a combination of things. I was already a health nut but even more so now and the alcohol has gone down a lot improving weights as well.

Ex: eating fish daily, no more caffeinated products, etc, I pinged Mike several times (probably a bit annoying for him) but if you don't ask you never get. Adjusted my diet to a slew of health questions I had that he answered, also remember to listen to your body.

In terms of day game and confidence, it's a bit of a double edged sword. It helps game for me tremendously, but I have to consciously turn "off" at work so I can continue moving up the ladder as fast as possible. Annoying, but I'm starting to do some "work game" as well.

Anyway have fun out there guys!

What I like about the forum is that everyone helps each other one part or another. I help tk with business, West and Rio help me on fashion and fitness and then Gio and Mike help West on fitness and game.

You'll rarely find people like that on the street. And even harder to find on the internet.

I'd like to say thank you to both Rio and WestCoast. Damnit theres so many people I,have to thank but still. After being able to squat 80 lbs today and hit 65 on the bench today, I can say I'm getting there.

I just wish I could contribute more here. It would only be right.

Giovonny: how do you go about figuring out fears + eliminating them from your mind? Any resources or tips to share?

WesternCancer,

Here is a bunch of stuff that I wrote over the last few years. Alot of it will sound repetitive but I think you will find some techniques that you like.

However, my philosophy and techniques are always evolving. At the end of this post I will write my most current and up-to-date plan for eliminating fear from your body and mind

Quote: (02-09-2012 01:14 PM)Giovonny Wrote:

The short answer is to simply do more repititions of whatever it is that you're scared of. If your scared to talk to girls, talk to 100 girls, if your scared to give speeches, give 100 speeches.

Facing your fear head on is the alpha thing to do!

I also recommened doing things that are much scarier then talking to girls like:

skydiving
bungee jumping
handling large snakes
Public speaking
fighting (like live sparring for boxing/mma)
talking to a therapist about your deepest fears (this is a highly underrated inner game tactic)

And simultaneously,

Addresing your specific fears like:

heights
flying
the dark
etc.

When you eliminate your deep seeded childhood fears, all other little fears melt away. Fear and confidence are in a constant struggle to control your mind. Attack your fear and feed your confidence!

Quote: (02-10-2012 03:01 PM)Giovonny Wrote:

This type of stuff has worked for me. I take fear elimination very serious.

Conquering my fear and feeding my confidence has been maybe the most important thing in my life the last few years. I realized that the less fear I have, the happier I am, the more free I am. That might be the most fundamental part of Game - having no fear. Its so liberating. You don't have to worry about people judging you, people liking you, or trying to fit in. You are free to just be yourself and have fun. You don't give a fuck! (when fear is gone)

I can't live with fear. I feel like a little pussy loser who is afraid to face the world. So I attack fear. I've talked to many sports psychologists and many colleagues in psychology to develop a strategy that works for my specific situation. I work hard on "inner game" because game begins in the mind.

Fear has infected many people. Everybody is so scared of everything. I can't live like that. I live for fearlessness.

Quote: (02-11-2012 03:29 PM)pitt Wrote:

Giovonny just one more thing. You mentioned all important things apart from working out or lifting weights, dont you think that this can be a very effective tool in eliminating fear? Dont you think that this can help eliminating fear?

Quote: (02-12-2012 01:53 PM)Giovonny Wrote:

Working on all aspects of your appearance is very important!

You want to look as good as possible, of course.

But I consider that "outer game". It doesn't fix the weaknesses is your mind. (though it may help them somewhat)

I think we have to work on both at the same time.

If lifting weights works for you then of course due it hard.

But, don't ignore those little fears that are in the back of your head when you go to bed at night. If you can conquer those, you will go to another level.

I'm trying to get to an almost spiritual level where its like I'm on ecstasy even though I'm not.

Quote: (02-12-2012 03:33 PM)pitt Wrote:

Do you mind if you breakdown how you go along with skydiving, bungee jumping, handling large snakes etc, i mean, do you do those activities on regular basis (for example twice a week) or you reccommend to do it for a one time life experience

Quote: (02-12-2012 04:18 PM)Giovonny Wrote:

I didn't know about "game" when I did those things, but now when I look back, I think those things helped me. I've only done those things once in my life and would never do them again but I'm glad I did it once. With skydiving and bungee-jumping, once is enough to shake you up a little. I thought I was dead, so when I got back on the ground I was approaching like crazy.

You should do something extreme like this asap AND find a fear eliminating exercise that you can do on a regular basis. Maybe a boxing/mma gym or a rock climbing class or firing range where you can shoot guns or surfing or something that will force you to face some fear.

AND, You should identify the top 2 or 3 fears that are holding you back from being the man you want to be and aggressively attack them.

AND, you should consider talking to a professional therapist about any fear that you may have carried from your childhood. If you have any "issues", deal with them honestly and aggressively.

Design a fear elimination game plan and get to work.

So you are doing extreme once in a lifetime stuff, regular confidence boosting maintenance, and also working on root of the problem in your mind. AND, at the same time you are improving your "outer game" in terms of appearance, vibe, and conversation.

Thats what I would do. (Thats what worked for me)

Oh, and I must admit, these helped alot too..

http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-6998.html

Quote: (09-29-2011 04:08 PM)Giovonny Wrote:

Something related that I posted last year:

I learned this by accident but something that helped me was DOING THINGS THAT WERE MUCH SCARIER THEN APPROACHING GIRLS.

I went skydiving and nearly shit my pants, when i got back on the ground i couldn't wait to approach girls..i had just experienced a great deal of fear and i was laughing it off...approaching girls didn't seem that scary anymore.

Other things that helped were boxing in the Golden Gloves, talking to my mom about why she left my dad, bungee jumping, etc. The bottom line is the more you face your fears...the less fear you will have stored in your body/mind...when you eliminate all that fear, approaching girls is easy.

Quote: (07-06-2011 04:26 AM)Giovonny Wrote:

Another way to increase confidence is to deal with any unresolved emotional issues that you might have. I think that stuff is deep Inner Game. Carrying around alot of emotional baggage can have a negative effect on your vibe. Sometimes you gotta just stay home alone for a few days and really think about stuff. If you have more internal peace, you might be more comfortable and have more confidence.

Talking to my parents about why they divorced helped me get over alot of anger and pain.

Which allowed me to be more relaxed and soften my vibe so that it was more attractive to females. My sense of humor picked up and my attitude was more playful and less intense. I started dressing with more swag because I was more comfortable with who I was.

Forgiving someone, forgiving yourself, having a heart to heart talk with a parent or sibling, these kinds of things can sometimes release weight off your chest and allow you to display more of your "best self".

As far as approaching girls to build confidence?

I think its the best way. Because you are killing 8 birds with one stone.

When you approach a cute girl, you are working on your:

confidence
vibe
body language
eye-ball language
conversational skills
social skills
quick wit/humor
quick thinking/problem solving

And it builds the right kind of confidence. Confidence in talking to cute girls.

Here is my most current answer:

If fear is controlling your life and you lack confidence..

Get professional help!

Yes, that is my answer. If your fear is paralyzing you and you can barely take action, that is what you need. You can figure it out on your own but that will take alot longer and wil have alot more ups and downs. A professional psychologist or therapist can help you identify your fears, their causes, and how to eliminate them. Those people do this everyday. This will kick start and accelerate your fear elimination process. Try different people and find one that you like. Once you get your fears identified and their roots, you can really get to work. I only did this for about a month when I was a teen but I wish I would have done it more.

I would compare it to getting into game. What would be better? Reading and studying on your own? Or, doing a bootcamp with Roosh?

The bootcamp with Roosh would probably be more helpful. Because he is A PROFESSIONAL!

Spend the money, take the time, get professional help!

Doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, counselors, life coaches, puas, etc.

Find the people who are experts at your situation!

Also,

Here are some techniques that I didn't mention in the earlier posts..

1)Google "eliminating fear" and educate yourself

http://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1CHNY...ating+fear

2)Read books on the subject

Here an author that I like:

http://www.oshoquotes.net/2009/12/osho-q...-of-death/

3) Traveling

For some reason experiencing another far away culture often helps eliminate some fear.

4) Meditation

This means different things to different people. For me, its just getting into a situation where I don't have to think, I can just react and play. I play soccer, basketball, and tennis. I do yoga. I dance. These things allow me to operate without thoughts or fears. These things come mostly from my muscle memory, I don't have to think. This break from fear and thought allows me to just live/play without feeling any fear. I am a guy who sees that there is no reason to be scared. If I am scared, then I am confused by my thoughts. Make sense?

I've always been afraid of heights real bad. I can barely look over a 2nd story rail without getting sweaty. It's so embarrassing and I've never tried to tackle it. I went up the Tower of Americas in San Antonio and felt like I was gonna pass out. The elevator is glass so you have to see everything as you go up unless you close your eyes like I did.

I'm gonna try to go to the Chase building tomorrow in downtown which has a crazy view of the city from the 60th floor. I wanna force myself to get close to the window.

Maybe I'll go to the zoo afterwards and make myself handle a snake (a huge phobia I have).

I wanna try and go every week until I can do it comfortably. Definitely had a little high the rest of the day from that. I doubt I would of ever tackled any fears if I never discovered this forum. No offense man, but squatting 4x your body weight is close to impossible without the proper training and development. The only people in the world that MIGHT be able to do this are olympic weightlifters.

When I refer to squatting, I refer to a full squat, where the thighs go below parallel, and your ass is very close to the ground, where your hamstrings are sitting very close to your calfs. If you claim to be squatting that much, it is either A. you are on a smith machine (not a proper squat, restricted movement) or B. not going nearly close enough to full depth, or both.

Solving both those issues will cause you to target your muscle groups much more efficiently and trigger motor unit activation of countless stabilizing muscles that lack activation in a smith machine. Also, going deep will target your glutes and hamstrings as well. All this, at the cost of lifting 4x your body weight..

Besides that stuff though, good post [Image: biggrin.gif]
