Running Seminars/Workshops In Foreign Countries... Visa Needed?

This is something I've been wondering about a lot lately.

It seems like a lot of people who run businesses teaching workshops and seminars earn their living travelling all over the world.

Question is, though, can you really do this legally?

It seems like pretty much every Western country has fairly stringent immigration laws, and it's mostly these countries that have people with the money to pay for full scale workshops.

Anyone here involved in this business wanna comment?

well just going there as a tourist and getting paid by cash is the best way to go but it's just unprofessional that way.

As long as you have your credit card merchant account in the state, you should be fine I believe.
I am sure those PUA companies have just one credit card account and charge customers through online when they do seminars all over the world.

I'd like open an online store and sell goods within U.S but I was thinking about opening a merchant account in my country due to lower tax rate. Since the goods are stored in U.S, it should be illegal but the thing is how can they catch it?

The big guys normally engage with the local seminar companies. The local seminar company gets certain percentage from the big ticket items you sell on the stage normally.
