How do you choose your Location?

“Heaven is: American salary, Russian wife, English house and Chinese food. Hell is a Chinese house, English food, American wife and Russian salary.”

It seems like no place in the world has everything to offer at once.

How do you choose where to travel and settle in?

Would you sacrifice in certain areas to get better results in others?
What are the priorities? What places have you find that meet your criteria? How do you know it won't change?
Or do you prefer to constantly roam?

Wherever you can live like a King.

This may mean different things to different people.

I define it as a place with beautiful feminine women who are not difficult to bed.

Where your looks and style are appreciated.

Where you can live in the best part of town in a stylish pad.

Where you can take a walk and enjoy the atmosphere and aesthetics of the city and its neighborhoods.

Where you can eat what you want and engage in your favorite sports at affordable prices.

And where you have friends (or at least cool people) you can spend your downtime with.

Where you can steadily meet new people on a regular basis.

And where you can minimize the things that annoy you, like traffic jams & pollution, assholes, bitchy women, and overpriced things.

Interesting, none of those things you mentioned require huge amounts of cash or a high flying career. So, perhaps choosing a smaller town and passing up a higher paying, more prestigious career would be worth it.

It seems like wealthier countries and bigger cities have more cash/prestige to offer...but difficult to bed girls, more stress, etc.

Perhaps finding a niche in a quiet town and then putting in 110% effort to excell in the areas available there is a good strategy.

Really he didn't?

"Where you can live in the best part of town in a stylish pad."

Prestigious careers are only stressful, if you suck or you're trapped at the firm (not everyone with a good job is unhappy although the media will sure tell you "money doesn't buy happiness"). Minimalism is smart, giving 50% effort is not.
