Hello All,

Going to Prague from the 29th of December and staying for New year's eve.
I don't plan any DG as I want to focus on visiting the city.
However I will go out all week end.

Since last post is more than one year old, are they any noticeable changes in venues? What would you recommend for that time period?

Thank you!

German-Slavic mix is about right, both in terms of looks and culture.

My general experience with Prague: if you have great game, then you'll enjoy it. The nightlife is mediocre, and daygame is very random, some days the flow is good some days not so much. But it's easy to get around and the the culture is sexually open, so ONSs could happen, and there are some, not many, but some, truly hot girls. This means if your game is tight and you have a high approach-to-lay ratio then there's enough hotties to feast on and you will have a great time. However, for intermediates and below there's just not enough numbers of hot girls to cut your teeth on.

That's why you have such wide disparity in how people view Prague. I've seen it myself, some guys I've met will clean up and nail a new 7/8+ week after week when they put in the effort, other guys are dry for months even with regularly going out, there's not as much in between.

I think this is a great evaluation of the current situation. I'm not there that often these days but most of the posts I see here from late 2014 on are spot on. In Prague there is little advantage from just being a foreigner. Every girl can tell you a story about a Czech girl hooking up with a foreigner. If it's not her, it's her sister or somebody she knows.

The center around Dlouha is still a huge sausage fest, but there are still lots of girls and guys with luck + game will meet them. The best strategy on Dlouha is to try to be there when girls are, but all the other guys aren't (day of week, time of night, etc). The fact that you can't smoke in public places anymore is the biggest recent development, so on weeknights the city is a graveyard. M1 is a notable exception. Pretty much every night it's full of guys and girls from Russia, people from the Balkans, Middle East and everybody who thinks they don't fit into the standard Czech scene. There used to be lots of African guys, but there aren't many anymore and they seem to have more or less disappeared from the Prague scene.

As some guys noted in posts, once you get out of the center it's a completely different ballgame and you can find places with more girls than guys. But you'll need sharp game because a lot of girls are there in the smaller places because they want to avoid the tourists. Last time around I asked a girl where people go now that the center is full of tourists and she said, just bars near where you live. Prague 3 (the Zizkov neighborhood) is supposed to have more pubs per square kilometer than any neighborhood in Europe. So just wondering around Prague 3 and hitting random pubs and then ending the night in Palac Akropolis (mentioned by the OP) is a good strategy for very adventurous guys who like hipsterish girls and have some time. The Czech girls are still relatively open-minded compared to some EE countries and when you find the right one things can move forward quickly. Sometimes shockingly so. You can spend the night talking to a girl who has showed little IOI other than still talking, and then she can just say, where do you live? I want to go home, are you coming? So you have to be open-minded and realize that things aren't the same as they are at home. There are also still some very beautiful girls around, but you don't see a club in the center packed with them anymore and since they get harassed by Czech guys too, they usually try to avoid going out in places where they will get approached. Live music places, supermarkets and neighborhood bars are places to spot them. The shopping mall list I posted in another Prague thread is still very relevant too. thread-29000...#pid640021

If you want to see the Czech Republic as it was before Prague got occupied by tourists, you can go to any medium-sized city and if it's not Brno, chances are good that you'll be one of the only foreigners in any place you go. Brno is still a good choice, but it's more of a mini-Prague. Cities like Plzen, Pardubice, Hradec Kralove are just an hour or so away from Prague and they're a lot cheaper. People come in from the surrounding villages to go out in these cities. The night spots will probably only be full on the weekends and girls will be a lot more shy about speaking English (and some really can't speak much at all) but it's easy to stand out because Czech guys of all ages will just be wearing jeans, t-shirt, sports shoes. When girls spot you as a foreigner you'll get IOIs and guys will talk to you too since a lot of them like to practice their English and they don't meet so many foreigners. So this is really turning the clock back quite a ways. I don't have any list of names for these cities because the times I've been there it was always with somebody who knew the places and just took us around.

For guys who really want to do the Czech Republic and don't mind going to a city where there might only be 1-2 happening venues, one way to do the small cities would be to start from Vienna, take the train to Brno (Wednesday, Thursday), then travel to Pardubice (Friday, Saturday). Then take a one hour train to Prague and stay during the week and do tourist things, Tinder, day game and small bars. The next weekend you could try Plzen and then head over to Germany around Nurnberg where guys with game can get SNLs with hot German girls, then end up in Munich. Alternatively go North from Prague to Usti nad Labem, then to Leipzig and Berlin. Guys here might like Leipzig too. Full of hot East German girls, but with questionable English levels (definitely less English spoken than in Western German cities).

Another city to try in Czech Republic is Ostrava, It has a huge bar street with about 100 bars, it's a lot farther away from Prague, but probably only about 3 hours by train from Krakow. This is the heart of Moravia, the region that's known for the tall, thin, blonde, big-titted girls. It's much easier to open girls there than in Prague, but most of the younger and adventurous, English speaking people get out of there as soon as they can because there just aren't any jobs.

I spent a week in Prague last summer with a friend and wanted to contribute some information after lurking the forums for a while. I agree with most of what has been shared and I will try to focus on places that are not mentioned elsewhere on this thread.

For the most part, Prague lived up to my expectations – both good and bad. Beautiful city and lots of fun, absolutely worth a visit. Of course, there were lots of stag parties and drunk British lads. Definitely a big sausage fest at many of the more well-known bars, particularly those on Dlhoua. But it wasn’t really that bad.

Accommodation: Unless you’re in town for an extended time, you will want to stay in Prague 1, 2, or 3. It’s not necessary to stay in Old Town but you probably will want to be fairly close. I rented a very nice AirBNB that was about 100 yards from the Old Town Square. That said, if I went back I would stay closer to New Town or probably in Prague 3 Zizkov neighborhood to get a little farther away from all of the tourists.

Things to Do: I am big into live music and Prague is a great city to see live music, particularly jazz, blues, and classical. I highly recommend seeing a show at the Mirror Chapel at the Klementinum. This place was built in 1725 and is both opulently adorned and great acoustically. Mozart himself used to play here and the hall still has the organ he played on set up (supposedly). I saw a string quartet accompanied by an organist and singer perform Vivaldi Four Seasons and these guys were some serious top shelf musicians. It was maybe $15-20 for a ticket to one of the two daily performances I think – well worth it.

Jazz Republic has different performers each night and seems to be geared more towards the blues than jazz. Like many Prague bars, it’s underground in arched cellars. Just a great vibe here and quality performers. Not really a place to pick up girls (though ratios were actually not bad) but a nice place to start your evenings - I think we ended up here at some point every single day.

Palladium Shopping Mall is the big mall close to Old Town Square. As others have said, a good place for day game and maybe your best bet for meeting a local Czech girl in tourist infested Old Town. If you need to actually do some shopping for anything, you can probably find it here too. Walking around the shops on Na Prikope would be a good option for day game as well.

Prague Beer Museum (the place by the river and Karlovy Lazne, not to be confused with “Beer Museum”, which is a small museum on Czech beer), is a great bar if you are into beer. More of a tourist bar than I’d normally go to, but they have at least 30 different beers on tap, far more than anywhere else I saw in Prague. If you want to try a lot of varieties of Czech beer at once, this is the place.

Places to Go Out at Night: Unfortunately, I was sick to varying degrees the entire time I was in Prague. This really impacted my ability and drive to go out at night so my perspective here may be a bit skewed. I did not spend much time at the bars and clubs off Dhloua like M1, Harleys, and Chapeau Rouge, but judging from what I did see, they are huge obnoxious sausage fests. I probably should have tried more here but I just wasn’t feeling it. If I am ever in Prague again I will give them more time for sure.

Le Valmont is a really nice upscale cocktail lounge/dance club covering a few small rooms deep in some cellars close to KU Bar and Mustek. High level cocktails and high level talent here, the best I saw in Prague. A more sophisticated venue and crowd which seemed to have few tourists, more Czechs and Russians as clientele. We actually heard about this place from a local Czech girl my friend met. I could see this place being a bit boom or bust throughout the week though, but I don't really know. A few other cocktail bars I enjoyed were Hemingway Bar and Anonymous Bar.

Karlovy Lazne is the massive five story club by the Charles Bridge. I went early one night before it was crowded just to check it out and it was exactly what you’d expect – overpriced and lots of young drunk people. This place is a shithole, don’t go here unless you have a thing for sloppy drunk young British girls. I met a Czech girl off Tinder at Golden Tree at her suggestion, which is really close to Karlovy. This place was like a much smaller underground version of Karlovy with a few different bars in one – chill bar, dance club, and a bar with topless go-go dancers (used up, past their prime strippers/escorts with wonky bolt ons) dancing on the counter. Don’t go here or really any of the bars in this immediate area.

I guess that is about all I have to add. I definitely agree with the general consensus on the Prague game scene that JohnQPublic and Tank_ state in the prior posts above.

ShapeShifter has some good tips. Prague 1 is really small so any place that you can find on internet (including this forum) will be quickly overrun with guys looking to get laid and pretty much dead by the end of the first summer after it got posted. So the best way to find happening places is to do what he did and just find girls that look like the kind you want to meet and ask them where they go out. There are still some places in Prague 1 that are not crowded, have zero tourists and are pretty fun because tourists don't know about them and from the street you can't tell what it is.

On another forum a guy laid out his method for finding happening places in a new city. Look at the facebook pages of popular clubs (or instagram), try to friend some girls who follow them or at least look at what else they follow if you can see it, then join the nightlife groups they're in and get event notifications. That's one way to find places that aren't in the city center.

Golden Tree is actually the English translation of Zlaty Strom, which is the real name of the bar. I haven't been there in awhile, but when I did go there occasionally the strippers were all as young as they could be while still being legal. Like 18yo high school girls. Sounds like it's changed, but it usually a good bet for any night of the week if everything else is dead. I was't super impressed by Valmont, but on the good side, it's one of the few prague places where they have any kind of face control, but once the word gets out it will be done, because it is super small.

I'm going for 120 hours to Prague this month - I hope university still in session and, at the same time, few tourists trickled in before the summer onslaught.

ShapeShifter, comparing Prague 1, 2 and 3, which area, in your opinion. has better date venues (cafés/bars) - meaning, places to take a girl for a date that will not be tourists packed and would be fairly close to an airbnb accommodation for a bounce back?

Prague 2, Vinohrady. The area between Muzuem and Jiriho z Podebrad (street = Vinohradska). Can also head slightly south towards Namesti Miru.

Zizkov is grungier but fun, I would avoid heading too much towards Flora as there's tons of construction and it's kind of a dump.

Thanks dude, lookslike a good area to me. Too bad not much available on Airbnb for this month in the Prague 1-3 below £30/night. Any other services worth looking into apart from hotels?

Do you need a pad for a whole month? If so you should be able to negotiate down easily.

There are plenty of hostels if that’s your thing...

It is not a cheap place overall.

Hostel? Why self-sabotage? Either hotel or Airbnb are the relevant options.

The Prague center is a shithole. Way worse than 4 years ago. Budapest by comparison has gotten better.

You really have to get out of the center to see any semblance of hot local girls. Not sure where they congregate aside from metro stations

The hottest girls around are the Asian tourists surprisingly enough. May be catching the fever soon enough.

Haven't hit nightlife yet as busy with other things but it was shit before and I have 0 hopes that it has gotten any better.

Are you in Prague at the moment? If yes, do you daygame or do only nightgame?

^ yes I am. I don't really do daygame (as in walk the streets for the purpose of meeting girls). But I'm out in the day all the time and if I'm in some cafe and a girl spills out her boobs I'll say hi.

I'm not here for game anyway but just thought I'd make some observations. Are you here? Would be interesting to see if there are spots where the locals are. I saw more talent at the central train station when I arrived than I saw in the streets ever since

Went to m1 Harley and James Dean

I think ratio was 9-1 guys.

Got ignored by whatever uglies were there. Ended up getting number of dancer by some idiotic chance and that was highlight of the night but leaving tomorrow. This place is a shithole. You might get lucky being at right place at the right time and then it'll be easy because competition although numerous is shit but fucking hell theres so many guys around...

Again this is touristic center so maybe there's cool local spots I know shit about.

So I am reading over this thread and the other thread that says that Prague stinks due to all the stag parties and what not. I'm going for about five days. I have theater tickets and would love to arrange a date before I even get there. I did this in Russia it worked out really well. Are there any online resources that at least I can begin to talk to some ladies and then decide from those whom I talk to that I want to meet, if they dare.

Will there be any issues with different hotels? 4 star plus they can accept I assume..

But another question is there any issue in Prague with joiners at hotels? Or the hotels don't care?

My username stands for, I Love Pussy. Unfortunately when abbreviated it sounds like S***. Admin, if you have any heart, allow me to change it? LOL
