Working on a cruise ship

I would sincerely like to get some advice on how to adjust my game to this situation:

I am about to get a job on one of the famous cruise line ships.
I am 50 years old.

Pros:
Plenty of pretty young women
the crew drinks a lot
I am a musician so I only will work two hours a day
most of these women know the deal with casual relationships

Cons:
Very small turnover
see the same people every day (I imagine I cannot use a lot of routines)
like a very small town in that everyone knows everyone's business
(the last time I did a ship I pissed a girl off and she vibed me almost every day for the four months I was on board)

How would you adjust your game? e.g. In Manhattan, I never worried about having to see women again etc.

Thanks in advance,

Dupree

Here is a photo with a 28 year old just before she took me home:

As you can see, I am not great looking but not too bad. Young women seem to be attracted to my persona.

Have you read the book The Truth About Cruise Ships, by Jay herring?

it's about a short book a ship officer wrote about his the on cruise lines.
I bought it when I was on a reading streak a while back.

it's not really specifically a have book, but it's pretty much the stories and exploits of a pretty average guy on a ship.

You say there is a low turnover rate. this guy made it seem the other way around.
*from book claim* people know they have a time line on contracts and don't form do relationships. it didn't seem odd to pass girls around our have the girls get around freely. especially if they were lucky enough to be in a boat that let the crew drink.

the way he wrote. people might know each other's business but also understood that was the life they lived, so there wasn't a problem.

I would use your music skills and persona and snag a nice young foreign chick. but keep your options open. when your or her contract is about to finish..look for another girl. be flirty with everyone but not sleazy.

send me a pm. if you haven't the book and have a kindle or kindle reader,I can send it to you.

either way..anyone that thinks cruise ship life if interesting should check it out

The book "Delaying the Real World" has a short section on how to apply + get jobs on board. It's only like 3 pages long but its good (and rest of the book is great)

Hi!

I've got the job.

My question was about how to adjust my game to the extremely enclosed environment of the ship.

Seeing as you're gonna be working on the ship and you'll be interacting regularly with women the part most guys find difficult is taken care of. Just build up your status; think of it as a sexual stock market on the ship. The higher your stock value the more women you'll be able to pull with the least effort.

Small things go a long way e.g. looks -> wear contact lenses, shave your head. Since you're going to be working 2 hours a day, hit the cruise gym up as well.
Make yourself more attractive on paper, this way your mistakes and errors (we are only human, if it's a small pool this is gonna come up sooner or later) will matter less and you can set up solid frames for the long term if you see these women on a regular basis. Less flash game, more solid slow afterburner game for these long term broads.

Take care of the basics and the game is yours to lose... Remember women don't give a shit about how many negatives there are about you, they'll ignore that and focus solely on the positives if needs be. Over long term, the more positives the better. Additionally, assuming you dock in various cities from time to time, this should make you more appealing for one night stands in these cities as well. Even though you're 50, if I were you I'd look into learning a different language as I assume you cross paths with people of different nationalities.

Having made friends with a bunch of the folks on cruise ships, they do not get any days off through the term of the contract.. typically year / year and half if I remember correctly.

Its a hard life for most staff, working crazy hours and many roles. So, except for the few times that they get a few hours to go to shore when the ship docks (not everyone is let off.. and not for long either) they are pretty much stuck in a tin can for year & half and doing the same routine.. over and over and over.

The people are pretty social and friendly, (comes with cruise environment) so all you gotta do is "look attractive" (workout / groom), "be fun" and social.. and within some time get to know the "landscape" of the people as you ESTABLISH your charming/ flirty personality, while making allies.

Once, you're well grounded (shouldnt take much time) and have some allies in every pocket, you can figure out the best ones to hook.. for quickies, short or longer terms.. of course, dont deceive anyone or you're in a small tribe.. be open, honest and I am sure you can find some who are fine with some casual stuff.

The point of modern propaganda isn't only to misinform or push an agenda. It is to exhaust your critical thinking, to annihilate truth.

Since you've done it before you already know the rules about fucking passengers and fraternizing with them in general. You also know that the ship, as with most restaurants/resorts etc, there will be a hierarchy of employees. Being hired as a musician should place you near the top of the hierarchy of non management employees. Now generally, these hierarchies work to the advantage of men. In a restaurant the female servers and hostesses will only fuck coworkers equal to or above their position in the hierarchy. This means they'll fuck other servers and bartenders. They won't fuck line cooks and dishwashers. Girls on the cruise ship who work as servers or in jobs similar to that won't be fucking guys in housekeeping or maintenance. The status of your position will make up for some deficiencies in game.

You will have a lot of coworkers who are not from the US. Many of them will be attractive. Unless they've got a boyfriend on the ship, consider them single. And just because they're foreign, and you've got a higher status job, it won't stop them from shit testing you. The most common shit test they'll throw is acting jealous when they see you being friendly/flirtatious with other crew or passengers. If you're apologetic about it, you fail, and you're marked as beta, and you get no pussy. In addition, don't ever display jealousy. It's beta. Don't be the creepy, old guy at the club. And if you're not in shape, get in shape. You're 50. Most of your coworkers will be half your age. Women in general don't have a lot of reservations about fucking guys twice their age, but it helps if you don't look, smell, and feel like their grandfather.

The forum has a good thread on cruise game, though from a non employee standpoint:
