Difficult Daytime Bus Approaches

On the bus...

I know Roosh has talked about the best way to 'position' yourself, but often I find myself in a difficult situation to daygame with the girl you want on the bus, especially if there is only one attractive girl. I'm just curious whether any guys here would act in these senarios and if so what would you do.

Situation 1:
You are on an almost empty bus and sit down. An attractive girl comes on and sits say 3 spots behind you. Half of the bus is still empty, including the seat beside her.

Situation 2: The bus is full when you enter the bus and there is a girl on the inside window seat.

Well, if she is only 3 seats behind you and the bus is half empty, then you should be able to talk to her from where you are sitting. If you can get a little conversation going then maybe you can move to the seat right in front of her or even right next to her if its really going well.

But, it all starts with saying "hi"..

What to say? Well, I like situational openers, something that makes sense at that moment. Just off the top of my head...

First, make eye contact with her, then without hesitation say something like this..

"Hey, whats up"
"hi, how are you"
"hi, are you going to the fashion show downtown" (i like to make up shit like that)
"hey, are you going to the baseball game"
"excuse me, do you know which exit is for the eastside mall?

and/or, comment on something she is holding...

"I just bought that same phone"
"I'm thinking of getting that type of ipad"
"I like your e-reader, is it easy to use?"

Something like that. These are some very generic examples to give you an idea.

I have been very aggressive at times and just gone and sat right next to the girl. This can work as long as you are a smooth talker who doesn't "scare the cat". Sometimes I succeeded, sometimes I failed. I learned from every experience.

In both situations sit as close as humanly possible.

If the bus is empty, so not to freak her out, sit close enough but not too close to invade her space and make her think what you're doing there.

If she's got a space next to her, and there are other people on the bus, sit in the damn seat!

I have done this countless times, whether you board a train or get on a bus you have to be aware of your surroundings and know where the hot chicks are sat and position yourself accordingly.

Be warned if you are on a semi-crowded bus/train and choose to sit with a space in between you, then you will always get cockblocked by an old-lady or some tool who will throw a spanner into your game by sitting right between you. In this scenario always sit next to her. Then act nonchalant about it so it's not ridiculously obvious.

Regarding the openers, I agree with Giovonny - situational openers are the best way to go, during the day you have to be engaging and more often than not *you sponatenously end up having a conversation after innocently asking about her phone/book/bracelet/watch*.

But all players know there is nothing innocent about it.

My favourite opener on public transport:

'Excuse me do you know how long it takes to get to <insert destination here>'

Even if you've ridden it a million times, you always ask!

I like the opener from Blue Valentine. On a mostly empty bus, sit right next to her and say, "You think I could sit down, because all these other seats are taken." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edkJYrP9qTc&t=00m50s

I'm stealing this one too! Golden! If that doesn't work, I don't know what will.

Feel the fear..then do it anyway.

yeah, I usually go with situational openers too. On buses or trains here in ATL, I have opened girls about the book they're reading: "good book so far?" If they're listening to the crack-pod then I'll try to guess what she's listening to. I get her attention by "signing" to her then ask "Rhianna?" if she looks kinda slutty. Let the opener flow naturally into opinions of books or music then (or something based on whatever opener used), start collecting the necessary data after you get the feeling that either you or her have to disembark.

Make sure you announce that you must leave first just so you keep the control otherwise if she's an AW, she can brush you off and say "gotta go" or some fuckshit. Don't hesitate though when going to open her and make sure you Kino.
