My friend sent me this video yesterday. It's quite old, but I had never seen it before. It may have been posted before, but nothing came up when I did a search. I'll let the video speak for itself. All I will say is Patrice got the angry pirate and donkeypunching on Fox News. Enjoy!

Ive been meaning to listen to this also.

I dont know if its part of the same stuff but I stumbled across this last week.

It might be the shows in their entirety and not just clips
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hAmCjqVk...el&list=UL

Yea...that's part of the same stuff. The link you posted is the whole first episode of The Black Phillip show. The clips I posted are from different episodes of the show. I listen to every episode I could find on youtube. The episodes are like 2 hours and some change but they are totally worth listening to.

In that case I found the thread with the torrent
http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-2133.html

Here is the torrent itself

If you want to listen to each show individually on youtube, this channel has all 13 episodes. no breaks

In the final 30 seconds, the woman explained what the problem was. "We're your consumers, we don't want to have to avoid everything in the street, we don't want to have to worry about what radio station we turn on." Translation: we want to take a totally passive role in everything we do in life, but we want no accountability. From large decisions with lasting impacts, to the trivial and mundane aspects of life like the radio station, we expect to play a passive role, but when someone does something we don't like, we expect them to take full responsibility. If you go out on the ocean in a boat and you wish to go to a specific place, you've got to have one of a few things. You need an engine and plenty of fuel or, a set of oars and a strong back, some sails. A woman wants to throw a boat in the water and drift to her exact destination. When she realizes this plan isn't working, does she think of what engine she's going to buy? No. She complains that the wind and ocean currents need to change.

It's always dubious when one person claims to have the finger on the pulse of "people" as a way of selling their personal agenda. As with the recent example of Tosh, rape jokes are always a bit risky. But as O'Neal was arguing, there's never a guarantee that ANY joke is going to be funny, but that's what comedians do. They put it out there and hope the audience laughs, or groans, or something. That's why standup is so hard. One of the most difficult things in show business is to consistently make people laugh.

Also, in the context of radio, the medium requires that the host be somewhat outrageous and controversial. It isn't visual, and it isn't physical, so you have to keep the audience from turning the dial and going off and doing something else. To do that, you have to say crazy shit. If all radio hosts were some monotone drone rambling on, people wouldn't listen. That also isn't to say that people can't object to what was said - the free speech thing goes both ways. Sometimes the complaints are legit (public airwaves being used to dispense hatefulness needs to be addressed when it happens), but if you tune in to Howard Stern, you know what you're going to get. He's likely to offend in some way - that's what HE does. At the same time, wanting to fire a shock jock because a joke fell flat is problematic. Princess wants to be able to turn on the radio to any station without the risk of being offended in any way - that's the height of ridiculousness.

"The best kind of pride is that which compels a man to do his best when no one is watching."

great post ^^

especially this
"I's always dubious when one person claims to have the finger on the pulse of the 'people' as a way of selling their personal agenda."

My bullshit detector went off when she kept saying "the nation". Patrice smelled blood and went after it, too.
