100+ kettlebell swings will straighten you right out, not to mention improve your cardio. Just be consistent.

Gym has many benefits, even for your attitude. But let me tell you that it definitely improves posture quickly. I would suggest free weights (not exercises where you sit and train specific muscles but those where you stand), do squats and deadlifts and military presses.. it will help, because it will activate the muscles that you don't use if you are a typical office / chair person.
