Alicante, Spain- Datasheet

Just (early July) spent some time in Alicante and overall had a good time there as the nightlife is SOLID Wed-Sun but you can still have some fun earlier in the week but options are limited to a couple bars and the club Havana mentioned below. The girls there were mostly Spanish girls but there was a small number of British there as well but definitely not overrun. The city is very pretty and has a great tile lined promenade which stretches across the whole city basically. There is another part to Alicante which is referred to as Alicante City but I didn't go there as all the action is in old town which is the beach portion of the city. In driving through there I did notice a bunch of strip clubs if thats your thing.

Girls:

Mostly Spanish with some English, but not very many at all. Also a small amount of Russians I saw/heard talking on the beach but I didn't run into them at night. Ratio was roughly 1 to 1 when going out. Didn't feel like a sausage fest.

Nightlife:

All of the nightlife really centers around the old town area and ground zero to start the evening is the corner of Carrer De Sans Isidre and Calle Carrer Labradores. This is exactly where the club called Havana is which is where you will end up most likely. The action really starts on the street around 11 but from 12-1 is prime and then around 2-3AM is when you should definitely be inside Havana or one of the other nearby places. Grab a table on the street from the bar right there, Munich, have a few drinks and the action will be in front of you. See the photos below of this corner on a Saturday night around midnight.

*Chicks in the background behind the guys*

The streets around this area are walk only streets and within a 3-4 block radius you will see all the different little bars and clubs as you cant miss them. Names are not important here as its a concentrated area and if you start at the above mentioned corner you can't go wrong.

The clubs in this area go until about 4AM and then the action heads over to the marina on the pier behind the casino where you will stay out till about 7AM. One of the clubs there is Monsoon and this place had a solid ratio and was mostly Spanish girls. I went there with a girl I met at Havana earlier so I didn't approach any of them in there.

At the clubs just about everyone is dancing so if you are not dancing you'll probably be going home alone. The marina area and the old town area are only about a 3 minute walk from one another so logistically not an issue at all.

On a Tuesday night I went out to a place called Isla Marina which is located on the water and is a little outside of the old town area so you wouldn't walk there but rather a short cab ride. The place was FLY. Period. The problem is it was dead on a Tuesday. The place is part beach club but then it is also a swanky lounge and nightclub at the same time for the most part all outdoors and right on the water. Here is the website which isnt user friendly but you can get the idea. http://www.islamarina.com Some locals told me that Friday, Saturday and especially Sunday (daytime into the eve) go off over there. Unfortunately I never made it back there but I will for sure if I go back as it is definitely worth looking into. It could be exactly what I wanted as a classier place you can dress up for and loaded with Spanish goddesses.

My experiences:

My first night out I had two 22 yo Spanish girls from Havana and I was making out with both of them and licking salt off both of their tits before tequila shots. Goes like this:
1. Lick tit for moisture
2. Put salt on moist tit
3. Shoot tequila
4. Lick tit again
5. Repeat!

Classy, I know! This is now the standard now for debaucherous tequila shooting! Shortly thereafter we were heading back to my hotel when one of them decided to start blowing chunks. Step 5, one too many times. Needless to say, that killed that unfortunately. Would of been FUN!

Another night I met a 18 yo Spanish girl also at Havana (of Colombian descent) who was partying with her mom, cousin and friend. Won them all over and was going at it with her while mom watched and we all took tequila shots. Was pretty funny despite my visions of the earlier night repeating itself and this one ending in chunk spraying as well. I desperately needed a wingman at the end of the night as we lost mom somewhere, but cousin wasn't going to get left behind unfortunately. I still have her on deck and another trip to Alicante will surely seal the deal. Thinking about going next week just for that.

I pulled a chick outside Havana one night too who I ended up hooking up with the next night (my last) and got a blower from in the end. I had no idea she was some sort of a TV personality in Spain, was hot, and was stopped for photos by people on the street twice when I was with her. She's from Madrid so that is on the map now too.

Day gamed a cute chick on the street asking her about where to go at night and got her to walk me down there to show me and then took her to an insta-lunch date. Found out she was a 17 yo good girl at this point and didn't do anything with it after.

Beaches:

The one beach in town where everyone goes is called La Postiguet and is located right next to the pier and the hotel Melia Alicante. People are still just getting there at 5PM or later and at 7-8PM it is still packed. During the week I didn't see that much talent there but on the weekend it was pretty much swarming with chicks many of whom were topless. Some families with kids as well but for the most part a younger crowd. Some fatties as well but thankfully not too many. I think fatties are going to be found almost everywhere now that McDonalds, KFC and Burger King have infested every corner of the world. You'll see pic below of smoking hot chick and McDonalds bag in the corner which represents a fattie on the beach who was not in the pic thankfully. Back to the matter at hand...

Lots of weed being smoked on the beach pretty openly and there are guys that walk up and down the beach selling you beers (2 euro), Sangria (about 32 ounces for 4 euro), water (Have you see what that does to pipes!?) . Not too many solo girls but lots of packs of 2-4 chicks. Everyone is in a good mood in summer and the girls were pretty friendly but I ran into some language issues as my Spanish is weak unfortunately. The beach is not amazingly beautiful or anything but it is nice and there are lots of girls on it which makes it much nicer. Pics below of what you might see there.

Logistics/Lodging:

You have to stay somewhere close to old town as everyone will be on foot walking around and having a place to walk to is key. THE place to be in my opinion is Melia Alicante which is located right on the beach/pier and is exactly where your night will end up as you leave the pier area at the end of the night. You can see the hotel location in the pics above from the beach. All you need to do is then point to your hotel from wherever you are. I didn't stay there but will next time for sure so I cant speak on amenities etc but I think all the rooms have ocean views. Room rates were only $115 USD/night on kayak.com

Prices:

Dinner for two, with two bottles of Cava at a nice restaurant was about 80 euros.
Jameson on the rocks cost about 4-6 euros at most places.
1 euro tequila shots one night at Havana which led to the girl mentioned above blowing chunks.
Don't

Eating:

La Darsena- Widely regarded as the best restaurant in town and also pricier than most. It was good and has a great view as its located on the pier/marina but I am SURE there is a better meal to be had. Still worth going for lunch or dinner.

Piripi- VERY good seafood and tapas. Slightly higher end as well and seemed to be very popular with the locals. I preferred it over La Darsena. Eating inside only though.

La Casona Alicantina- This place has been there since 1965 and they are super hospitable, fresh fish, and good knowledge of wine. Would definitely go back. Located on a small walk street in old town and you sit outside on the street while eating. Cheap as well.

Other: The old town area has a bunch of restaurants where you sit outside and there are little strips where most of them are located in close proximity to each other which brings lots of people who are sitting outside eating and drinking. Difficult to approach in this setting though as they are sitting and enjoying meals with friends/family. If you set up next to them, it can work though. The areas are:

-Carrer De Castanos between C/ Girona and C/ Del Teatre- Tables outside, cant miss it.

-Carrer De Sant Francesc just south of Plaza Portal De Elcee- Small street with tons of tables outside and had a pretty high concentration of pretty women.

Overall:

Definitely a good time at night with a nice but not amazing beach. The girls were friendly for the most part when the language barrier wasn't an issue and running solo hurt me a bit in keeping friends/cousins occupied. Definitely some douchebag dudes out and about but I guess thats almost everywhere it seems these days. The nightlife goes off from Wed-Sun with it progressively getting better each night towards Saturday night. The local girls seem to like to party from the sampling I saw/met.

Nice sheet, but could you breakdown the nightlife options a bit more? The names of the main clubs to go to on each night? The differences / demographics of each?

Thanks

My pleasure as I think the real life examples help paint the picture rather than just robotic statistics of what you'll find.

Names really don't matter and the general demographic out at night (varies nightly from one venue to another of course slightly you just walk around and find the hot one) is mostly Spanish with a few English and other European nationalities sprinkled in.

Thanks my man...I would be lying if I said I did, so the short answer is no. She was hot too. I did approach the girl who was all greased up in the first pic though and my lack of Spanish hurt me on it. She was SEXY too, much more than can be seen in the pic. She was one of the hotter girls I saw in 3-4 days I was there. A lot of the girls in Spain I notice seem to get by on good genetics which leaves them thin and sexy despite my feeling that they don't really hit the gym or anything. "Grease lightning" definitely hit the gym and took care of the body she had on her.

Yup, that is exactly it. I'm mad at myself for not going back as I am pretty sure it was a hotspot on the weekend.

You basically nailed it.

I lost all my notes from Spain last summer.

I did a few posts but not too much.

I did do my revolutionary post on swooping Topless girls though.

The only thing you missed is what might be my favorite restaurant in the world:

Quote:Quote:

Best International Restaurant: La Taberna del Gourmet, Alicante, Spain. The food is so good it made old E-tab and Cocaine buzzes hit me. Seriously, my nose got sweaty while dining here. Ate here three nights straight at one point.

I am on my way to Spain right now. I plan to hit Barcelona, Mallorca and Ibiza in addition to hitting up Tomorrowland in Belgium. For those with the Spanish knowledge on the forum, is it worth putting Alicante into the list of planned destinations? Any tips on logistics (getting there, around etc.)

It depends what you want thegameoflife...its not the same as any of those places you mentioned but it does have a good nightlife, a very nice promenade along the coast and there ARE girls there. If you are trying to run chicks and go in the early part of the week, you might want to skip it. If you are going weekendish then hit it. VERY cheap to fly from there to Mallorca (I'm sure Ibiza too), under $100. You don't need a car there at all once you get there.

You can take a train from Barcelona but it takes 4 hours and you can also fly for under $100 USD. Fly there.

The cool thing about the train is you can see some beautiful Spanish countryside.

And you might be able to swoop on the train as well.

Qwest -

Question for you:

Did you ever climb up the castle?

If you look from there inland, the city is pretty damn expansive.

I always wondered if there are any night moves inland too.

Could be a real sleeper where you might get more mileage being a true Wessyde Player.

Thoughts?

I never did make it up to the castle unfortunately. It was on the list but between the 7AM nights and squeezing in beach time it got boxed out.

I agree that Alicante "City" could really be a gem. In fact almost HAS to be in my opinion with the size of it also from what I saw. Per wikipedia

"The official population of Alicante in 2011 was 334,329 inhabitants and 771,061 in the metropolitan area "Alicante-Elche".[2] About 15% of the population is foreign, most of them immigrants from Argentina, Ecuador, and Colombia who have arrived in the previous 10 years."

I met a young hot Colombian also there so I can confirm this to a certain degree. I briefly went into the city on a restaurant recommendation but wasn't feeling the vibe of it (the restaurant) so bounced quickly. I am considering going there to study Spanish for a month or so and if I did that I would definitely dabble in the 'city' and see what holds.

The Wessyde Player factor would certainly go further there but I need to hone my Spanish a bit first to really be able to leverage it.

The actress/socialite chick who I met was also there judging for who to be crowned Miss Alicante and showed me pics of about 5 of these chicks. Mannnnn, they were nice. Granted, any time you take the creme of the crop on a population of 300K+ your gonna have stunners but nevertheless these chicks were Solid.

Yeah, homie, you got to get that Spanish Game up to Par.

So key.

When you can flip those verbs, words and pronouns in a foreign language, the world opens up.

Even be flipping the tongue like the diggity-dung Das-Efx.

I went to this last year:

Except I had to leave before the end.

Real pissed.

Now I have to go back.

Hundreds upon hundreds of people smoking and drinking on the beach.

And not a cop in sight.

Try that in The California Police State.

Did you notice that girls in Spain don't text on there phones every two seconds like girls in California?

Those festivals look dope for sure. I'm not gonna go back unless its either to learn Spanish or already with a sharpened set of skills. Growing up in LA its hard not to have a basic vocabulary already in Spanish but its more just putting it altogether. Already speaking 3 languages I find helps me pick up others quickly as well though.

That Das Efx first album is a SLEPT ON album by most! You just reminded me, it might have to come out of the crates now...

I definitely noticed that about the chicks and not being on their phones as much. Seems to be that they use it more in a functional manner rather than just bullshit chit chat which most chicks are doing on them in the states and many other places for that matter also.

Last year I spent a month in Alicante. Back then I did not know about game (too fucking bad) However, I fell in love with the city, the food, the culture and especially the girls. Too bad I cant go there this year. However I´m looking forward to visiting this city again.

I´m a blonde guy I remember getting so many opportunities but I was so clueless and blue-pillish back then. All I managed to pull was a dutch chick.(she ended up with a LMR in my bed)
Now that I learned about game I can not wait to go there again!!

Arrived in Alicante yesterday (Saturday) for a couple of nights. Took a stroll down to the Old Town around 6pm not expecting much as the set up in Spain is generally go hard but go late. Much to my surprise it was kicking off massively....both hen and stag parties in full swing and thankfully none of them from the UK. All local or at least predominantly Spanish. Top vibe and it kicked on until late.

One thing that did strike compared to London at least was the absence of mobiles being used. For example, was sat out front of Havana and looking around there must have been around 50 chicks in groups close by and perhaps one or two were glued to their phone. Compare that to UK / US / Asia and it was quite the contrast. Although that may explain why the online game here is woeful.

In short, I'd say Alicante is a very decent option. Spanish girls aren't the easiest to pull back for ONS but if you're into a sound night out with plenty of options in a cool Med locale then it's worth popping your head in to take a look. Plenty of cougars on the scene too and they're not shy about dressing for the climate....

I could say that Alicante is top destination for summer at a worldwide level (honestly I could say the same for most of the spanish touristic spots for summer). You can find the horny local girls, with the horny girls who come from the inner cities of Spain (girls from Madrid), and then girls who come from the rest of Europe.

There will be horny and desperate guys , a lot, but there's so much abundance of girls that you can easily play the numbers game..

Take the most of the coastal spanish cities during summer time...it's like a paradise [Image: wink.gif]
