This is the first bit of news I've seen about the whole Tiger Woods thing worth reading this--I can NOT believe that this came from a mainstream news outlet, this guy (writer) is fucking awesome, check this out:

Its probably true. Hot blondes get alot of media attention. If Tigers wife was an unknown black woman we probably wouldn't care as much....but she a sooo fucking hot! We gotta pay attention!

Plus, look at the media coverage of Taylor Swift/Kanye West, but it's nonexistent coverage of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys/L'il Mama. The first was an acceptance speech with almost no preparation. The second was a performance with weeks and weeks of practice.

I don't think the Taylor Swift and Kanye thing had anything to do with race. It was just plain outlandish.

I do agree though that blonde women are always being made into the damsels in distress i.e. Natalie Halloway. And they automatically get more attention and sympathy.
